Nice building, I am thinking about doing the exact same building in Williamsburg, VA. Are you satisfied with the big roll up doors? It looks like they do not seal on the edges. I am concerned about heating and cooling the building and gaping holes at the door edges making HVAC difficult. Thanks for your response.

Thanks for the response! I was more concerned about the vertical edges. I have since found the brush seals that industry uses regularly on these type of doors. Looking to get my building done by March or so. Thanks again.

Great garage! Is your certified and what’s the difference between certified and uncertified?

trusses are solid no welding, surely all those tubes in those trusses are not scerwed or maybe glued? makes no sence to me and i have erected several buildings larger than this

What kind of finish did you put on your concrete curious because it looks great and easy to clean.

Carolina Carports in my experience has the worst customer service I’ve ever seen, they don’t answer phones, if you complain to their office they have nothing but excuses as to why they can’t return calls or delay the operations. They take off for whole weeks for holidays like 4th of July, Memorial Day off the entire week. We have Labor Day coming up and my prediction is they will be off the entire week. I paid them to fabricate and install my building back in May of this year 2022, I’m still waiting for them to come and install it they gave me dates of 22nd of August or 29th of August 2022, and they will provide me a week notice. I had to call them last week to see if they will be coming on the 22nd. Lisa Cook who is their Texas customer service rep, said she will contact me to let me know something. She didn’t I had to contact them and she said she is waiting on a call from their Emory Texas fabrication plant as to when they will be ready. Still waiting for the notification. I explained to them that it is very important to have advanced notice of one week. Carolina Crapports requires me to provide them a telescopic forklift. I have to schedule that one week in advanced to have it on site in the time they are planning to erect the building 40’x60’x16’ and I have to provide a week advance notice to my employer to take time off to be here for the construction project. Their whole operation so far is a sh!t show. I’m in the construction industry and have been for 40 plus years, I’ve owned a construction business, I am a master carpenter by trade, I’ve worked as a project superintendent and manager, I am currently a structural building inspector for a major city and have been for 19 years. I work with all the professionals in our industry from architects and engineers to builders and skilled craftsmen, I’ve noticed a huge decline in customer service over the past few years. It’s a damn shame.

The wall framing is thicker than other buildings I've seen. It looks almost like a truss.
