Awful thats a real hillbilly trap
ОтветитьThanks! Great instructional video! However I suggest only 3 zip ties along each joint, 1 on each end & 1 in the middle. I’m gonna duplicate your one way door!
ОтветитьI will try to build one
ОтветитьOutstanding
Ответитьfor the outside I usually use one piece, then make 3 folds, when you cut it leave the wire little pieces then interweave them and fold the wire pieces to lock it all together. when making the door I once again leave the little bits of wire and bend them over and under to make it spring loaded. so you only need the wire, snips and pliers ( I use a multitool). May be hard to visualize
ОтветитьHow do you attach it to the house?
ОтветитьGreat video I like to buy you a beer and a pizza
ОтветитьI’m installing mine this weekend. Thank you
ОтветитьNice, thanks for the video, I do wildlife as well, and with this new information I can even make a multiple catch trap like this as well.
ОтветитьVery clever, relatively simple but effective design 👍. Thank you!
ОтветитьThanks. I cannot find the heavier gauge coated fence material. I tried three big box hardware stores (Menards, Lowes and Home Depot) and all have none. Only stock lighter 20 gauge non coated which seems too flimsy to me. Any suggestions on sourcing the material?
ОтветитьIs this trap door too aggressive flying squirrels?
ОтветитьThis is perfect. Great demonstration and easy material to use. I have been looking for this video for weeks. These squirrels are a read nuisance. Some people think the are just the cutest but once you get then in your house LOOK OUT! It cost $$ from damage and to pay for Critter Getters.....
ОтветитьWill the squirrel be able to lift the door and go through?
ОтветитьWas able to find this in 19 gauge. Looks a little thinner than yours. I thought there was an Amazon link or do you know the gauge of the coated wire (hardware cloth) you used?
