I’m surprised that you didn’t touch on the one so-simple-its-hidden “Easter egg” in regards to when Rain on Me occurs in the Chromatica timeline compared to “Stupid Love”. Gaga has stated that Chromatica is an actual place/planet that transcended the ills of current Earth and promoted a peaceful existence for its inhabitants....which made the desolate and post-disaster landscape of “Stupid Love” a bit....jarring. Until Rain on Me came out. Again - this video should be considered as set on Chromatica - and as the camera continues to pan up and down when the flips happen between Gaga and Grande - notice the tall skyscraper buildings, set in roughly the same formation as the ruins in “Stupid Love”, with the “arena” that they dance in on Rain on Me recalling the ruined area that Gaga confronts the battling color factions in Stupid Love. Finally there is a brief flash of a computer screen that warns of a Flood Level Event as the rain is picking up in the video. My thinking is that the videos of Chromatica are going to work backwards in a way that may actually loop back on itself. Whatever the video is for the next single will probably end with whatever fight Pink Gaga was in that caused the wounds and fall depicted at the start of Rain on Me.
