I never knew Mohammed Fayed was responsible for Diana's security! I did find out fairly recently that he was a horrible, abusive little man. Diana truly made some very poor decisions.
Diana died and it's tragic and so, so regrettable. But I shudder to think what would have happened if she'd stayed alive. What Fayed's influence would have been on the RF. If princes Andrew and Harry are bad and have a bad rep, so much more Fayed.
