Venice @Hilton Garden Inn | Near Marco Polo Airport | Perfect Stop Before Joining the Cruise Ship

The hotel was a welcome sight after several long flights from the U.S. It was a perfect place to stay before our bus trip -- the next day -- to the port in Ravenna.

Even though this hotel doesn't have an airport shuttle, it isn't too far from the airport and taxis were plentiful and easy to find.

My dream of staying in a canal-side historic hotel will have to wait until I return and have more time.
