Madagascar - Ranomafana, Kirindy and Mantadia

Madagascar.
A two week wildlife and birding visit to Ranomafana, Kirindy and Andasibe-Mantadia in Early August 2023.

Can recommend him to anybody planning on doing a trip to Madagascar. hes very knowledgeable on all aspects of touring in Madagascar and arranged all the accommodation and local guides.

Tips;
Draw cash in the big cities as most hotels, guides and tips you need cash. You can only draw a maximum of 800 000 Ariaries at a time but you can draw as many times as you like. Sometimes ATM machines are closed so draw when you can.
Only hotels and restaurants in Antananarivo accepted credit cards.
Guide fees and times should be negotiated before hand to avoid any problems.
Reserves charge a daily fee which differs between local residents and international tourists.
Travel times are very slow due to road conditions and traffic!
Buy drinking water to take in the car with you and at hotels. Many hotels don’t have air conditioning and you need to drink plenty of water. Most of the rural hotels don’t have air conditioning, room fridges and electricity may be limited so take power banks to charge cameras when there is no electricity.
