Are you still accepting drivers?
ОтветитьCan you recommend a company in the Houston area that works with newer drivers?
ОтветитьWould you recommend leasing or buying a trailer?
ОтветитьWhat's hotshot trucking?
ОтветитьThanks for the video! Question. Do you think owning a truck and hiring a driver would be overwhelming while working a 40 hour week at a different job?( I know nows not the best time for that thanks to you)
ОтветитьWhat do we need to lease with you?
ОтветитьIt's reputable not retchable😊
ОтветитьMy plan is to get my CDL through my current company,Pepsi. I'll drive for them a 1-2 years gaining experience driving day cab semi with up to 48 ft trailer. All the while getting extra equipment for hot shot. Tarps straps chains safety equipment etc. then once I have about two years on my CDL I'll seek to purchase a truck( dodge 3500) and trailer(40 ft gooseneck)and lease on with a company. Let me know if this is a decent plan or not. If not what could I do differently?
ОтветитьWhat if I own all of my equipment, have next to nothing in personal bills, get my own authority with a dispatch service and have a cdl?
ОтветитьI drive for a semi company. I have my llc, dot, mc, but never was active. I been driving 20 years. I want to buy hotshot truck and trailer. Would it still be better to lease with a company? Can I build my authority while leased with a company? I want to dispatch myself. What’s your advice?
ОтветитьCan you just talk about the truck please
ОтветитьHow do you find a company to lease onto? Is it companies like walmart or ford?
ОтветитьYou ever going to answer any questions on these thousand comments?????????
ОтветитьMy authority just reached 3 months. Getting started, we were told we need 30 days. 30 days in, we need 60. 60 in need 90. When I talk to a new broker, off the bat it’s how old does my authority need to be and can I fill out a carrier packet anyway. The guys out here scamming are worse than the fuel prices. If you get into this, validate a brokers mc and ask your factoring company if they will factor a load from so and so. The faster you can get a mc checked and verify you will get paid the better. If it takes you 10 minutes to find out, you likely lost the load but definitely avoided the chance of getting scammed by just seeing a load and taking it, not vetting the company. As Stone Cold used to say, DTA, don’t trust anybody.
ОтветитьDo you have an instagram
ОтветитьI own my own my equipment outright f250 with a gooseneck and a 40ft 22gen trailer I have 2000 in monthly bills but I work full time as a crane operator doing 115k a year I wanted to start a hotshot business and have a driver run the loads while I dispatched with owning my own equipment already could it work ?
Ответитьya big picture its a bad time.Scam level insurance prices, high fuel prices, competition. But i want to do a "cheap" f550 zf6 7.3 cash truck and decent trailer. Just gotta find my niche and freight before even getting started really. My regular insurance has doubled in 2 yrs, total scammers. Need to get the insurance under control.
ОтветитьI already make over $100k a year and work 4 on 4 off. Is it worth trading in for a dually and doing hot shot car hauling my 4 days off.
ОтветитьWhere can I find a dispatcher??
ОтветитьHow much is commercial insurance?
ОтветитьGreat info! Thank you
ОтветитьDon’t come on here and start telling people why getting your own authorities a bad idea because I’m getting it and I’m gonna be your competition so get ready buddy.
ОтветитьThis dude my hero
ОтветитьHey man, I'm looking to lease on somewhere. I'm in SE Oklahoma but I'll go wherever I need to. I'm taking your advice on not getting my own authority too. You sound very knowledgeable and I would really like to work with you if possible.
