My late husband won me over with rutabaga! 😊
We had just started dating, he cooked a dinner for the two of us fit for a king. The table was LOADED with so much food I don't even remember what else was there but I'll never forget the rutabaga, something I hadn't eaten since I was a child. It was delicious. He & his first wife raised a large family, so this man knew how to cook! I never left his side for 18 yrs til he passed. Somewhere along the way I bought a rutabaga to cook for him and I got a whole nother level of respect for the man when I found out just how HARD that thing was to peel!!!! 😂

If anyone has a tip for making it easier to peel the little beasts please tell me!! 😂
