For the Lucas I just throw it under the hood somewhere it wont catch fire and go for a drive so it heats up the bottle. Flows better when its warm
ОтветитьWhen adding it does the engine need to be on and idling though the dipstick hole
ОтветитьThat is genius 🙏🏾😁😁
ОтветитьEminence front in the background 👌🏼
Ответитьcan i use this product in dual clutch transmission in ford powershift transmission?
ОтветитьGood idea.
Ответитьcan use for CVT TRANSMISION
ОтветитьI never had a problem putting it ina dipstick tube. I use a funnel then fill it then i wait a few minutes to ooze down. No big deal.
ОтветитьHello. Can I put this Lucas Trans fluid in a 2012 Toyota Camry. Please let me know. Thank You.
ОтветитьMicrowave it..!
ОтветитьYep Lucas works ...😎✌
ОтветитьI mix it with the proper transmission fluid in the transmission fluid container or Lucas transmission additive bottle even if I add some of the transmission fluid to vehicle first to make room to mix Lucas transmission additive. It makes it easy to pour down the dip stick tube! Even if it's a 50/50 mix in a quart container. The fluid warmer does help also. P.S. Don't overfill though.
ОтветитьI am so happy I just saw this. I’ll be replacing the filter and will be adding a whole bottle of Lucas, and I was thinking about the nightmare it’ll be to pump it in using a handheld oil pump. This is genius.
ОтветитьDO you use any kind of gasket seal or formagasket on the gaskets? It will go through the dipstick you just have to use a funnel and give it plenty of time to run down the tiny dip stick hole.
ОтветитьI pour a half quart in the transmission and pour the Lucas in the quart bottle and put another quart in the Lucas container to get all the Lucas
ОтветитьMy transmission fluid is full. Do I need to drain any to use this product?
ОтветитьIf your tranny is fine is this ok to use?
Ответитьwell i put mine in hot water for 5 mins n it works good
ОтветитьI have a 2017 ford escape SE I have a slight leak will this product work for that.
Ответитьdoes cvt trans. have graphite for the chain drive?
ОтветитьHow to buy?
ОтветитьThat's fine in a shop. Not so easy with a vechile on ramps or jacked on your garage floor bit it's a good point.
ОтветитьIf you can't pull the pan get a harbor freight transfer pump for like 6$. Pull the bottle amount out into a water bottle or 2 add the Lucas back with the pump through the tube it works better than the funnel for sure
ОтветитьDoes it work for Mercedes’?
ОтветитьIf you use the dipstick and funnel just heat the bottle up in warm water first then it runs right out
ОтветитьMicrowave that shit it’ll go the dip stick better
ОтветитьGood hack with pouring. I’ve never had a original gasket come off in one piece. Just saying.
ОтветитьWhat is the most important thing of this Lucas? More important that it cleans all the stuck valves or more important that it's very thick and makes the whole ATF thicker, which makes AT to easier doing its job? I mean, if the ATF is pure clean and nothing stuck inside, does it make sense to put a bottle of Lucas anyways?
ОтветитьThis is genius
ОтветитьJust leave on top of the engine after you shot it off and by the time u have the pan off it will be warm and pour faster. You can also full a bucket with warm water amd leave inside while u take the pan off...
ОтветитьThe easiest and best way to do this is literally dump all your regular ATF into a pouring bottle like you would do with engine oil and then dump the Lucas on top of it and use a stick to mix it up and then pour it right down the dipstick tube it will pour completely fine because it's already mixed with the regular ATF.
ОтветитьI pour some tranny fluid out and mix the lucas 50/50 with the fluid in the bottle
ОтветитьI have a shudders on my 2011 camaro SS with 6L80 tranny. Lucas helped approx for a 3000 miles. It works great but lasts for the short mileage
ОтветитьTo bad my Hyundai wants my money and puts my transmission pan behind the radiator 🥲🥲
ОтветитьSoak the bottle in hot water then it flows.
ОтветитьI mix it with the first quart
ОтветитьGreat Tip, my 6L80E Doesn’t have a dipstick and you have to pump it through a fill hole where a dipstick would have been. Next time I will try this.
Ответитьhow much do i use? does this just replace tranny fluid?
ОтветитьWhere are you located? I need this for my Ford f150 2020
ОтветитьCan you mix it, with an normal 75w 80 oil?
ОтветитьA lot easier to just heat up the bottle instead of pulling the pan. Pours like regular oil. I think I give people too much credit. 🙄
ОтветитьGENIUS!!!
Ответитьword
ОтветитьCan I use this product with my 2017 2.2 ford ranger with mercon LV atf? It has transmission slipping issues and I
