ОтветитьYa bebiie
ОтветитьI would do just about anything to own a 355 hard top W/ the manual though, I heard a 355F1 pulling out of a parking lot and that F1 trans was not liking the slow pace.
ОтветитьSuch an absolutely gorgeous machine
Ответить$20,000 for a clutch replacement 😅
ОтветитьInstead of Page Mill should've picked La Honda, it's much nicer and smoother.
ОтветитьI bet he drew the aztek
ОтветитьI wish the car was gated.
ОтветитьBravo!
ОтветитьSeriously, what is it with people whining about the maintenance on this thing? It comes out to like $200-$300 a month.
If that's an issue for you, why are you buying a Ferrari? Go get a Miata or a Mustang and stop wasting our time.
Best sounding V8 Ferrari and design wise Iconic. I want these car so much.
ОтветитьENGNOUT LOL
Ответитьthats why i love ferraris ❤️❤️ every time im racing with them, i dont care about time or statiscs either. i just enjoy it..
Ответитьalthough the 355 f1 is the most affordable automobile of the legendary italian auto maker's line-up, it's still, and very much, A FERRARI!!
ОтветитьThere was no 308 GTO; only 288 GTO!
ОтветитьThe F355 GTS has the same lines as the berlinetta. You can drive it open and can hear the full sound much better - believe me, you will regret it when you have a berlinetta....
ОтветитьWhat is the visual difference between the 348 and 355? I hear this all the time, it seems so silly. The 348 was designed by Leo Fioravanti, Ferrari's greatest designer. He stopped working for Ferrari in the early 90's after being at Pininfarina for nearly 30 years. He designed practically every 70's and 80's Ferrari, including the Dino and the Daytona. The 348 was the last car he designed, and the 355 (although he was not involved with it) is just a light restyling.
ОтветитьThis is my favorite of Ferrari's mid-engine V8 line.
ОтветитьIf you get an SW20 Toyota mr2 you get 85% of an f355 but you don’t have to take the engine out. 🤣
ОтветитьGreat video awesome car six speed manual is the only way to go
ОтветитьAnyone who complains an older Ferrari is slower than newer Ferraris needs their heads kicked in.... No shit sherlock
ОтветитьI find it continually baffling how virtually everyone bashes the 360 when it's simply an improved 355 in almost every way. Easier to service, faster, still sounds incredible, more comfortable, better F1, still as raw, better seating position, more modern appointments.. The 360 is like the Tony Blair of the car world. Everyone seems to dislike it now to some extent, before they even know why..
ОтветитьSports cars may have "gone way beyond this.." but do any of them sound as good or have as much timeless presence? 😉
ОтветитьDefinitely one of the better Ferrari 355 reviews ! 😃
PEOPLE my age, THAT is 50 years old and over consider the 355 the last of the "real" Ferrari's with gated shift gear box. Many Ferrari and sports car fans prefer the manual gear boxes to today's mindless PDK (paddle) technology
1997 - the l a st of the genuine Ferrari's with the 355, at the time, being coolest looking Ferrari. and, along with it's hyper car brother . . . the F50 !
Ferrari F50 - in regards to speed, the Ferrari F50 was it !
The F50 has been revisited and re-reviewed in late 2019 and early as I write ( it's Thursday the 9th January 2020)
it is THE Ferrari. An F50 has just come up for sale and is expected to fetch
$US2.5 plus million. . .
F50 - A mind blowing 3.7 seconds for 0 - 62 mph and the documented speed of 205, 210 and
215 mph !!!
Funny how Americans refer to 3.5 liters as ‘tiny’. These days in Europe, you’d be hard pressed to find a car on the road with even half that capacity.
Ответитьwhat a fantastic reveiw
ОтветитьGreat video thanks. I guess I have been a lucky man to have owned one for the last 15 years😁
ОтветитьThis will forever be the best sounding Ferrari
ОтветитьI have often thought that possibly maybe the 355 could perhaps be my favourite Ferrari.
Ответитьits not got the gated shifter... what a waste
ОтветитьSo no power, heavy steering, unresponsive transmission, basic interior. Beside expensive to buy & maintain, you're pretty much describing a 90s Corolla?
ОтветитьUnless you buy one of these with all maintenance records done on it which is going to cost you a lot of money it's better not to even look at them cuz you're p o s
ОтветитьGreat car. Ive had my manual F355 for 11years now and its done 27k miles. I can't bring myself to sell it. Ferrari stopped making open gate manual cars a long time ago. Shame, because they are wonderful. The feel, the sound, still very special.
ОтветитьMeh, Not the same without he gated manual
ОтветитьBest ferrari. I'd still take it over a new one. You cannot really use the new ones to their potential. with the 355, you can really string it out and fully experience it on the road.
ОтветитьMy first car is this the Ferrari 355 f1. I got this car from my first game NFS 2 SE.
ОтветитьReally enjoy listening to both of your car opinions. Always informative and entertaining . Excellent video.
ОтветитьJust going to take the motor out and put a LS1 in here and I'll keep the Ferrari motor be less on maintenance
ОтветитьYes, I would. I'm really not a Ferrari fanboy but the 355 has always been one of my absolute favorite cars. Hoping to find a driver's example and then buy an engine hoist. Engine out requirements will probably keep the values depressed enough for a while. That's my hope. 😉
ОтветитьWhat click to wait for Reverse? It's a FERRARI, rev it up and release the clutch you'll be pointing where you wanna go! 😁😁😁...Reverse gear😂😂😂....
ОтветитьReally like the duel commentary cross cutting between the 2
ОтветитьYe I only found out recently about the engine service thing which sadly is a who,e heap of money and made this possibly affordable Ferrari 355 out of reach.
Ответитьso beautiful and so unreliable
ОтветитьMy friend has an F355 Spider and I agree with pretty much everything you guys said. The manual definitely seems like the way to go, and it sounds incredible! So I would actually argue that the convertible is the way to go so you can really enjoy the engine note. I have a GTR and as you pointed out it is waaaaay faster, but just being in the 355 in isolation is a very enjoyable experience and feels quick.
Ответить...but who cares? Everyone that is trying to buy one.
'But who cares' should not be an argument to anything.
If a transmission in a dedicated sportscar is slow then it is shit, only a numpty would say 'but who cares'.
