ОтветитьInteresting to see how they were all jet-lagged when this was filmed. And during interviews betweeen songs none of the players ever smiled once, in fact they didn't look at all happy about what they had to do, but they were dedicated to doing what was asked of them. I think bull was feeling quite ill at this stage and still could play at his best even when he felt like crap.
ОтветитьBest pianist ever!Brings you in to the music and never lets you out!Totally absorbs you!

ОтветитьI come back to this video a ton....I frankly believe that this is the best performance of his entire career. Don't get me wrong the Live at The Vanguard is breathtaking but he teleports the audience to another place during this one. This whole performance is magic....Everything the mics (incredible sound engineer), camera placement and movement, the brush work, the individual solos, and the opening is a waterfall of emotions
This is an utter ramble

ОтветитьSweetest thing you'll ever hear
ОтветитьMusic can sound totally modern, without losing its beauty. There's noise, and then there's Bill Evans.
Ответитьラファロがいなくなってもモレルがいる・・・という演奏。ゴメスにはもう少しだけ節度が欲しい。

ОтветитьI like the key change early in the song. You hardly notice. The song begins gently then it comes alive.
ОтветитьI highly recommend to chek Chet Baker's Almost Blue and all of his career as well.
For that poor ones that already hasn't hear or even know him .
Valious treasure!!
Freaking best song and pianist…ever❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьEddie Gomez is superb on the bass...
Ответить❤
ОтветитьMiles would call him and ask him to lay the phone on the piano and play.
ОтветитьFelicitaciones
ОтветитьI don’t think I’ve ever heard the piano played so beautifully by anyone else. Bill truly was one of a kind
ОтветитьUn Pianista Único, sin molde.
Tenía la magia de penetrar nuestras mentes haciendo de su sentimiento el sentir propio.
SOBERBIAMENTE PRODIGIOSO!!!!
one and will always be one of my favorite Bill Evans pieces. The way that the piano flows from chord to chord, Note to note is beautiful. The trio captures this piece so beautifully it not even funny. It's amazing that it can go from classical to jazz and then classical all by Bill Evans hands is literally bizarre. Bill, Eddie, AND Marty are one of the best trios I've heard other than the miles Davis trio and quintet. This video brings the connection between the old style and the beautiful music goes hand and hand.
ОтветитьLovely thanks
