Do I deny that any ultimate creators gods exist? I don't have to. The burden of proof rests upon those who positively claim that God(s) exist. Atheism means primarily a lack of belief in God, not an active assertion that God does not exist.

Darth would get absolutely smoked if he took even an intro level Philosophy class. He fundamentally doesn’t understand how to engage in any kind of meaningful intellectual exchange to the point of utter humiliation. I like whenever someone has a proper rebuttal to Darth he will shout over them another question so that he can claim you need to answer his question first before he clarifies his point.

It would be like someone accusing you of stealing their wallet and then when you point out to them that the wallet is in their hand and instead of them apologizing they suddenly change the subject and demand to know why you never do dishes. Atheism is the disbelief in claims that there is/ are a or some god(s). That is a difference from the "denial of" a or some god(s). For me, belief is dependent on positivr evidence presented for a proposition. Absent of that evidence, I do not believe. Dawkins is an insufferably narcissistic, arrogant, bad mannered arsehole with a severe lack of self-awareness! Atheism/ theism address belief, they do not address what people know. The latter is a/gnosticism. These terms regularly get abused/ misused

Was hoping for a better argument from Tom. I stopped the video a few minutes in because he failed to clearly explain the point he seemed to be making. First, even within Darth’s Christian worldview, falsifying belief in the Christian God wouldn’t lead Christians to classify Muslims or other theists as atheists. Second, Tom presented his argument using the following syllogism, which commits the fallacy of denying the consequent:

If God exists, then I know God exists.
I don't know God exists.
Therefore, God does not exist.
