Remember the NFL purposely allows the worst refs to ref primetime, Thanksgiving, and wildcard playoff games, to provide cover for score fixing and point shaving.

I think the official story was that they had actually blown the whistle, but that no one could hear them, we feel you and of course the Browns were trying to hike the ball fast. You’re not going to hear or see a whistle on a video review, but the officials were firm in their interpretation and commitment that this is exactly what they were doing before the Browns just got the ball and tried to win the game, because they knew if they catch got reviewed they were gonna be in trouble. So were they actually ‘robbed’ if it wasn’t even a catch? There were a lot of plays before that for it to come down to that at the end.
