I first heard this song 25 years ago, and it's always remained one of my favorites. 13 years ago, I took my girlfriend at the time to a marathon of Cowboy Bebop and introduced her to it. 2 Months ago, she passed away from cancer. Now, this song will forever remind me of her. I hope she finds peace in the blue.

I can't believe what just happened. Somehow, I got tickets to see Yoko Kanno live in NY on 2025!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I won't be able to sleep the rest of the year and until that night in March 2025 comes.

Not so rare, just look up The Seatbelts Tokyo Souvenir. This is from that. Or it might be "Souvenir of Tokyo" Its one or the other.

I always listen to this on winter evenings, when I walk my dog down the empty streets, illuminated by streetlights, charmingly sparkling with fresh film of frozen condensation. Mai Yamane's voice appears out of nowhere, as if coming straight from the dark nothingness of the freezing air and then it just takes me to heavens. I'm no longer walking, no longer feeling each step, I'm gliding through the space and everything around me is pure, unspoiled beauty. I always think to myself that those are the moments I live for.
