I get Emi being attracted to a project - thars why he came to Villa in the first place. But to go to United who arent even in Europe at 32 makes zero sense. At a push, would getting them into the Europa League/top 6 of Prem really be a success compared to what he can do staying at Villa?
ОтветитьWe need to make a sale man united need a goalkeeper mutual agreement
ОтветитьIt's not who we sell It's who we buy
ОтветитьI dont mind losing emi but the whole going to Manchester united thing baffles me, he left arsenal to come to villa and said he wants champions league football and to be playing at the highest level, so hes goung to united a team whos not even in any European cup let alone champions league. If united beat spurs and got champions league id understand it but hes going from European football which is what hes after to no European football but more money
ОтветитьTake away all the sentiment.. Emi was a very good keeper the past four years but last year his standards dropped.. so in my opinion I'd sell whilst the stock is still decent.. this shall help with finances all round..!
Let's move on.. if he leaves he'll be helping our club and he'll also be doubling his wages too.. win win.. 🤷🏼♂️
I'll definitely give him a good reception but when the game is underway he'll get what he deserves until the full-time whistle then he'll get my total respect again.. 👊🏼
“They” are the last team I’d like to see him move to. Really. Anyone else. But on the plus side, at least Ollie can score with his first shot!
ОтветитьDoes anyone see Utd challenging for the PL anytime soon? I dont and they have it to do to get back into the UCL, i really dont understand why he would want to go there. UTV
ОтветитьIm cutting off all emotions for this one, He will go with my Villa blessings as Hes been such a brilliant servant to the club. However, if this does go through, we better dam well get Chevalier. Man Utd though ?...Jesus Christ, Ive only just got over Bosnich going to that dripping hole. UTV
ОтветитьAfter only signing a new 5 year contract last season why has Emi suddenly now decided that he wants to leave the project at Villa with European football to go to the Man U project without European football & a strong chance of getting none the following season? The comment from a Villa fan that Dan was so quick to dismiss isn't so unrealistic as I thought something along the same lines aswell. Emi obviously knew in Villas last home game that he'd be leaving our club the chances are that United had declared a strong interest to his agent beforehand which would be relayed to Emi. We come to the last game of the season vs Man U & Emi does something crazy in that game that he's never done in 5 years at Villa which get him sent off, when Emi smashed into Rasmus it looked very deliberate rather than an accident to me & could've been avoided I have no doubt about that, we'll never know for sure what Emi was thinking at that moment, but the fact he suddenly wants out at Villa after signing the 5 year deal last season & previously has stated how much he loves it at Villa, the club & fans seems abit strange & maybe he's fallen out with Unai or someone of note recently? Would Emi do something crazy out of spite to get back at someone? I would like to believe not a chance, but the whole situation doesn't sit right with myself & from the comment Dan was so quick to rubbish others are wondering if it could be a possibility? There's clearly enough for people to wonder what has changed so quickly with Emi & Villa to bring about this situation?
ОтветитьLove Emi but it’s not terrible to have fresh ambition in the club. Chevalier is one of the best rated young keepers in the world, he will want to win something
ОтветитьFor anyone thinking about machroom bingo??... I got it when Dan first got sponsored by them. I've won two jackpot full houses and loads of 25 lines. Plus they gave me 2x £50 for my leader board position. It's a really good app. Every time it's gone wrong, they've replaced the money so I highly recommend it.
ОтветитьIs there any news on kamara’s contract extension? Surely there’s concern that he drags out and goes on a free like how we signed him for free on a sign on fee?
ОтветитьI don't get why villa fans are upset with emi, he's given us his best years, he's going to help us with psr and we can get a younger keeper in. If he was 25 yeah be upset he's 33 and we may get garnach/rashford we all know he loves Villa. Stop the hate
ОтветитьThanks Dan, enjoyed your balanced thoughts as ever sir 🫡
ОтветитьIts the money, Dan....
Let's not dress it up with all this "project" talk....
Hes definitely going Dan!
ОтветитьId guess emi wont b happy with it dan, .they ain't exactly prime fergie utd....i think hes the psr scapegoat,...ironically, i wonder what his reaction will b when we win a trophy, ..., and btw, its coming for all the doubters out there....?
ОтветитьI'd laugh if Martinez's chronic lower back pain, that he suffers from in every single game (for time wasting purposes) came back to haunt him and he failed the medical!
ОтветитьDarius Vasell's birthday announcement the other day was more exciting news than Villa's transfer talk. If Emi truly wishes to go to shambolic Man United rather than stay with Villa, or head to Spain, Italy, Germany for CL, then why bother talking about him until a deal away is finalized? There is no more "analysis" worth making a vid for.
Ответитьsent off cus of a shit back pass
ОтветитьIf Dibu goes to United, which it's looking that way....we really need to get as much money as we can for him so like I've seen with fees such as 40M and for a 32 year old wouldn't be bad. We've had players leave and we've done ok when it's happened but let's at least also get a good keeper to replace Emi. Also if he doesn't want to be at our wonderful club then we don't want players that don't want to be with us, so let him go. UTV VTWD 💜🩵🦁
Ответитьkeeping Bouba more important
ОтветитьPremier League teams that have had long successful periods have had solid goalkeepers. Quite often when the team changed goalkeeper the dominant period ended
ОтветитьHow’s it 70 30 if onana hasn’t even left lol
ОтветитьLast season he was miles away from being the best keeper in the world.
He was miles away from the keeper he was the season before.
I wouldn’t be against moving him on for big money
Especially if we are having to convince him to to stay
Let's be honest, Emi is on the wane, if he goes to united all is forgotten and he is dead to me.
ОтветитьDan, do you think that when EMI signed his new contract he was asked to play one more season and we would let him leave but for full value rather than playing out his contract and leaving for peanuts?
ОтветитьI think at 32 years old Emi is thinking about one last big money contract and Villa happy with that if they get the price they want
ОтветитьDoing a great job - keep up the good work - even if it is to give bad news like emi being on the way out!
ОтветитьI'm finished 😢
ОтветитьNot upset with this at all, good luck to him. Massive part of our reformation and I thank him for that.
I feel he fell off a lot last season. He's a warrior and he may still have legs but Father Time is undefeated. If Chevalier is as described and we put a little in the kicker from this deal then this looks shrewd from the hierarchy.
Chevy looks like a nutter too, to be fair.
ОтветитьWith how critical they are to a successful side, why do you think the monetary value of goalkeepers SO much lower than strikers?
ОтветитьGenerally speaking, I have no issue with players moving on because of ambition. I was sad to see Jack go but knew it was the right move for him and us. But Emi, I am more disappointed with him right now. I think he had a relatively poor, inconsistent season ending with a disastrous unexplainable red card final match against United of all teams in a match that meant something.
I will admit I am still feeling salty about the players' lack of effort and focus in that last game as the game was in their hands and I agree if he goes to United, it will burn most fans.
Feelings aside, it's the right time for Emi to go, but it's the manner of it. And I can understand the reasons Emery and co are fine with him going. I really like the Lille keeper, I was really impressed by him. He had a little of Emi and Allison in how he plays, and a young talented keeper would be the right fit.
I love Emi, but i think its time to go.
Man Utd is still a massive club still (as shit as they are lol) take the money, back Unai's vision and lets look to the future
Chevalier looks very talented but big red flags for me over his reputation, backed up by the numbers, on dealing with crosses. That in the prem, behind Konsa and Pau... That feels a big risk
ОтветитьSo depressing if he leaves for just man utd of all teams.
ОтветитьEmi Martinez leaving Villa in the mud, for a slightly bigger paycheck at Man U is a bigger betrayal and stab in the back than Dwight Yorke, who atleast left us to go win some trophies and titles
If Martinez does move to Man U, any kind of legacy he thinks he's left at Villa Park will be gone and ruined forever, I'll pay just to boo that greedy prick for 90 mins
UTMV 💜 💙
He clearly wants to leave now — but if it’s Manchester United, that’s a whole different story. In my opinion, it’s far worse than when Jack went to City, mainly because of where United are right now. We shouldn’t be helping them; we should take a page from Liverpool’s book and completely refuse to do business with them going forward.
If he genuinely thinks United are a better option, then maybe he’s not the player — or the person — we all thought he was. And let’s not ignore Mendes’ role in this either. He doesn’t make money when players stay put, so of course he’s pushing for a move.
Dwight Yorke taught me that players are always looking outward and not inward , Delph taught me they can confess their love for the club and lie through their teeth.
If we sell him I just hope we get the maximum we can .
And any well wishes will evaporate if he goes to utd . Most goal keepers are crazy but a move to utd just makes him look Stupid 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Emi gets himself sent off against Man Utd on the last and most important game of the season, and now wants to go to them. Let him go, he hasn’t been all that this season anyway.
ОтветитьI don't want to keep any player who doesn't want to be here, and especially not if they think they're doing us a favour by staying. I wasn't devastated when Douglas Luiz left and I won't be if Emi does. I'd be much, much more disappointed if Kamara went.
ОтветитьIf Emi goes we will all be gutted but if so then we need to go all out and get this lad. He has to be the replacement
ОтветитьEmi would be miles worse than Dwight. Yorke went to the best team in England if not Europe, managed by one of the best managers ever
.emi would be going to a has been club
Your over rating emi massively. No where near the best goalie in the world despite winning that trophy, which was based off Argentinas success. Going off last season he's not top 10 in the world. Sell early rather than too late. Emi and Olly are right at their max values, it's only gonna Plummet moving forward
Great time to sell him for Villa, perfect time for a younger GK to come in with Europa, so long semi👋
Ответить30 m and go.!
ОтветитьObviously, Villa would never be where they are without Emi.
Appreciate everything he has done at the club.
If he wants to leave, so be it.
However, going to Man U ....it feels like a strong betrayal.
I wonder if the refs will book him for time wasting at Utd
ОтветитьI could always see Emi leaving at some point to one of europes big clubs but not utd. That is a backward step and he would lose my respect completely.
ОтветитьOf course I forgot to change my audio settings over to my mic.....apologies for that!
