ОтветитьThe Unnatural Corpse is by far the strongest being in Rimworld.
It can regenerate 30k hp/day, doesn't dies until the regeneration is spent, has a pain shock resistance of 1000%, is immune to most instakill events, can reach 300% move speed, receives only 20% of all damage and can teleport to the target in case it can't reach it by walking. It can brush off direct nuke hits.
It does have some weaknesses, it can be destroyed with a Psychic Slaughter move, forced to vomit with Vertigo Pulse, you can sedate the original pawn so the corpse awakes sedated, you can carry away the original pawn so the corpse is forced to down whoever is carrying him and it can't teleport if the pawn is in a 1x1 room.

I once killed the corpse by making a 1000°C sauna for it, and using all of my colonists as a human wall to keep it from going out. Gotta be my favorite Anomaly monster.

Given Rimworld lore strictly sticks to humans never finding aliens, this is a little terrifying.

The best way I found was to put the corpse in a sarcophagus, then the first thing it has to do is move out of there before it goes teleporting. I only exumed it for study and then put it back inside.
Otherwise...yeah you see what happens. Never trust Cosmic Horror stuff. Handle everything like it's a Nuke.
The faul incident is definetly one for the rim log, up there with scoots weed addiction

Still playing vanilla game and at this point a bit scared about all that dlc. How I suppose to start with? Take a mod at a time, starting from royalty and after play all of them individually enable all at once and it will be actual nowadays Rimworld experience?

ОтветитьWhen I first played Anomaly, I was doing a run to 'lab it out' (Not Randy, full save-scumming)
Just to learn what each entity did and how to deal with it in a real run.
I ended up in a groundhog day situation where I only had 1 save, like... 2 days before the unnatural corpse woke up. And because of the study cooldown, It was literally impossible to finish studying it.
...Or it should have been. After hours of desperately reloading, reliving the same 2 days and trying to save my best pawn from this thing. I discovered that destroying the corpse to make it dissappear, would cause it to reappear one day later with the research cooldown reset
That just barely made it possible to finish the research and kill it for good!
Not sure if that exploit is still in the game though...

Ответитьit's good that colonists undraft by themselves after a while, because vinny always keeps a handful of them drafted after every incident lol
also Paul's tasks were reset by his death, maybe he will notice it and finally take that opportunity to take him off firefighting

ОтветитьVinny needs to understand that not capable of violent doesn't mean not valuable in a fight. They can still be a Field medic, dragging people to safety and treating them. Being a field engineer and fixing turrets while still being besieged. Or, putting out fires and stuff while the fighting is happening.
I always have a few rough and tumble non-violent in my bigger colonies.
