So nostalgic!

The first Universal Pictures movie to have the 1988-2006 logo was The Serpent and the Rainbow and the last movie to have the 1988-2006 logo was United 93.

This was also in Backdraft (Kurt Russell, William Baldwin, Robert De Niro, Scott Glenn, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Rebecca De Mornay, Donald Sutherland, Mark Wheeler, Jack McGee, Cedric Young, and others) which was made on May 25th, 1991

This logo reminded me of the Universal-International logo for the starry sky and the rotating earth globe and Universal's 1936 logo for the letters orbiting around the globe.

Kinda like this theme as well as the 2012 version (1997 with added choir)
