Ok, so regarding my comment under your last video ... I was clearly wrong!
The Hamon is amazing and I will definetly test out the polishing and etching method!
I'm happy that your steel produces such beautiful hamon.
Will you weld some pices together and make a bigger sword out of it at some point?

Isn't your investment soluble in water? Wouldn't that be easier to extract your casting?

Would you consider making a video about your “sharpening device”? I got a couple of tantos that need polishing and any tips would be appreciated.

I should be able to cast brass for the habaki right? dope videos man, i really enjoy watching the calm tutorials as well as working along. Currently working on some Gyuto kitchen knives, after that Ill start a tanto from some railroad steel i have laying around. Your sunobe video is great and will probably safe me a few days of work. Keep the great work up and thanks for the free advice!

That's amazing work you did with the blade. 👍 Would you be interested in trading some blade work for some habaki/tsuba/fushi/kashira work? Could make a couple of fun videos too. ;-)

For your Tanto you gave the size of the steel that you started with and the dimensions that you forged it into. With the forging and grinding done what are the final dimensions your Tanto has so I know I am in the ballpark of what you got. I bought your steel btw and I love it and will by more again!! Thanks.

Excuse me, do you provide polishing service for antique Japanese sword ? Also do you kindly list any of the swords you have made for sale ? Apologies for my intrusive questions. Thank you for your kind understanding.
