ОтветитьI got the same problem, I will eat only a small portion of meat with 2 tortillas and 10 minutes later I feel extremely sleepy and I try to fight it until I can't do it anymore and I fall asleep for 4 or 6 hours. I'm at a point that I feel I can't eat anymore. PS: I went into carnivore diet and this problem is gone.

Ответитьcarbs are not the problem. fat also is since your body uses 5 organs to digest it. i ate 3 lean porkchops and 5 eggs and that knocked me the f out for 2 hours. the first meal of the day. i think it is all about when was the last you ate. if i eat now another heavy meal, i won't be so sleepy since i already ate a heavy meal in the day.

ОтветитьDrink tea or Green Tea (my favorite) immediately after you finish eating (i’d rather my tea or green tea being strong or dark colored in other means), that’s how i %99 avoided the sleep coma and that little %1 when i had the sleep coma was because my tea or green was too hot for me to drink so i had to wait……
ОтветитьHere’s why u feel tired. You are eating too many carbs. Carbs release tryptophan especially fiber rich carbs such as oats, bananas, lentils and wheat products such as bread and cereals and even pasta.
You are consuming too manny tannins and phytates u could have an iron defiency - beans, wine, grapes, berries, coffee, tea and cocoa all have a high tannin content if u consume a lot u could get tired more easily.
If you constantly drink lots of milk or consume dairy you’ll be more tired and melatonin rich foods such as cherries, fish, oats, almonds, rice, mushrooms and tomatoes are high in melatonin avoid having during rn day. Eating pizza can make u tired and high calorie meals lower ur atp. Eat more vitamin c fruits and red meat, kidney beans and spinach for energy
Hi, I am currently going through 'food coma'. Mine is worse. Aside immediately feeling extremely and uncontrollably sleepy when I eat carbs, I also immediately (within a minute) feel pains in my joints, muscles, and all over my body. Has anyone experienced similar symptoms? This is affecting my quality of life and I am striving to avoid carbs. However, I am afraid there could be a debilitating medical condition that doctors are failing to diagnose. Any information at this point will be immensely beneficial. Thanks all

ОтветитьPlease help!,😮 OK, this is not the case with me, I really think it’s something more serious. After I eat in the evenings and I’m experimenting what I think it’s mostly carbs that do this to me, but I completely pass out on the couch I mean like heroin addict or I’m leaning forward and just cannot keep my eyes open for the life of me. If I get up and walk around when I come back and sit down it’s the same feeling and I really think it’s dangerous. I have been intermitted Fasting for the last coming up on seven years. it does wonders for my energy, I don’t know if my body is rejecting carbs, lol or what but I can’t seem to find anybody that knows what I’m talking about,
