UNCLE
ОтветитьI live in the suburbs and only have 1 month of grid down supplies. I figure that I'll be taken out by gangs and marauders within the first month of real SHTF so what's the point.
ОтветитьThanks for all the info Mr. Freedom. Got me looking to pick up the correct ammo.
ОтветитьIn a rural area you know your neighbor, heck you probably went to high school with their cousin or something.
ОтветитьFor the algorithm
ОтветитьF the algorithm. Lovin these videos UF
ОтветитьTHANK YOU UNCLE FREEDOM FOR YOUR VIDEO AND OPINIONS ON THIS IMPORTANT SUBJECT. I WILL CERTAINLY STAY TUNED FOR FOLLOW UP VIDEOS... 😊😊😊
ОтветитьI get something from all your videos. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьFor those who are interested in this subject, Jared Diamond wrote what is widely considered the seminal study on how societies collapse: "Collapse: How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed".
ОтветитьCome on man, give us just one Roll Tide.....
ОтветитьYou forget xurbs, the sweet spot
ОтветитьSourdough bread is my crack
ОтветитьWell done! Guns and such is the “glamorous “ part of the SHTF fantasy. Water… food… sanitation and medical are exponentially more important (and immediate) than anything.
Please be safe out there! God bless
Great Vid stay safe brother 💪🏻
ОтветитьVery informative! Be safe at work.
ОтветитьVery well described. Thanks. But too long.
ОтветитьThought you hadn’t posted in weeks. Gotta check out the red dot video
ОтветитьWhats your SHTF plan for when gasoline runs out everywhere?
ОтветитьI'm more of a survivalist homesteader than a prepper the main reason I keep months and months worth of food on hand is so I don't have to go to the store and I preserve a lot of my own food as well I have goats and sheep that I can eat if I need to or just let them keep multiplying and then I have an excuse not to be around people because I have animals to take care of
ОтветитьGood video Unc, your discussions get my brain looking for holes in my preps and situations to expect.
Ответитьwassup unk!
ОтветитьThis is some info tht I can actually apply to my life. I live in Baltimore ik if shtf I can’t trust nobody 😂
ОтветитьF the algorithm…next ones gunna be great, people are nutty as it is now much less in shtf
ОтветитьBuilt a dual gutter diversion water collection system off my shed going into a 275 gal container. Been collecting prep basic food items for several months now. 6 mo supply. And of course, building up all calibers to a 11k round inventory. Collected over time was not a big financial hit. Also added complete first aid kits, trauma, burn wound etc and Rx medications.
ОтветитьNice that you are pointing this out to the people of our useless urban areas. But remember one thing, that you did not mention. The gov't, unless it is run by me, is going to get resources to the urban sh*tholes immediately. That's where the politicians win selections. A fragile society is exactly that if you think of it holistically. If you don't, like I don't, and you only think of it for your needs then you only have to worry about you and yours.
ОтветитьThe best is people buying perishable foods right before a hurricane.
ОтветитьI work at a water treatment plant and you’re spot on brother. People don’t understand how much nasty stuff gets filtered out and having a week of water and food will get you through so much. Thanks uncle!
ОтветитьHY-VEE mafia!
ОтветитьWhat about Berkey filters?
ОтветитьI’d love to hear you expand on the “we’d never survive another Great Depression” concept as it applies to our JIT food system. I’m not sure I understand that connection.
ОтветитьFTA = for the algorithm
ОтветитьDude I shit you not,I worked with a young guy about 20yrs ago. This guy didn’t eat for three days because his wife went out of town and he didn’t know how to make his lunch😂😂
ОтветитьThis is why I have enough food stocked up to last my family for 3 years not including my live stock and my garden..
ОтветитьDo not forget, you need water to make soup. You need water to cook beans and rice. You need water to brew beer!
ОтветитьSpent my previous life on a submarine... if we lose the ability to make water it gets hairy real quick. The 2 most limiting factors are water (O2, just so some pedant(A-ganger) doesn't come in here and say oxygen) and food. Everything else is ignored for the most part.
ОтветитьYou called it well! I was going to ask (through the screen): what about medications? I bring that up because, under the current Admin, some 3 ltr agencies are NOT allowing certain medications that some people Rely On (with Rare Neuromuscular Diseases/Disorders+, Controllable) to have >than XX amt of days worth... Used to have a yrs worth! No longer. Yep, been on 3 ltr agencies!
ОтветитьJust to add something people need to be cognizant of. Our society is the definition of a complex system. Complex systems are exceptionally fault tolerant. They can re-route critical functions around damage with minimal disruption overall....up to a point....once you exceed the ability of the system to absorb and reroute damage, collapse happens rapidly. Think of a hypothetical bridge that you systematically pull beams out of off. There's one beam difference between crossing the river safely and being in the drink.
ОтветитьMost people don't realize they sit on atleast 30 gals in there water heater that being if it's not contaminated.
