None of these really spark enough joy for me to finish the deck. I love storm but she's so boring here.

Invaders are pic'd on in the Trench. Capt America, Bucky, Namor, Android (original) Human Torch, and Toro (Other Human Torch looking guy or the Robin to Android Torch's Batman lol).

The cards look cool but since the start of the video I couldnt stop thinking that maybe Captainin America has possibly killed someone he didnt mean to hit by accident with his shield bouncing around😅

Absolutely extra turn and combat for Storm.
I agree that kinda sucks that they are all so combat centric but also makes sense.
Was thinking about building Ardenn/Kraum Voltron for casual but Steve Rogers is also pretty cool in the colors.

Been running proxied up Breya as Magneto and Wyleth as Tony Stark for years now so guess gotta make changes.

Another direction for iron man could be an artifact big mana deck since he makes treasures or could use his trigger to fetch manifold key/stax pieces. Mishras workshop deck.

Storm seems like Temur OG Narset, doesnt have hexproof but vigilance is actually pretty nice for the extra combat spells that dont untap her, or other extra turn effects that also dont provide the untap. also, goes into my Xyris storm deck which should be dope, giving storm to wheels seems funny af

What about improvise instead of affinity for Iron Man?

Captain America seems kind of cool, though a little bit of a letdown with no keyword abilities like Vigilance or Lifelink. There's also the lack of his inspiring heroism, it's just throw shield around and catch it.

Black Panther seems like a standard +1/+1 counter commander only he uses lands to store counters that you can later move onto a creature to sucker punch a player if a creature makes it through the defense. I'd probably put a spread a few counters across a number of lands, but I'd stockpile the rest into one for when I go to take out a player with a sudden boost in power for three mana.

Iron Man is somewhat scary to me. I really like him, but he just screams combo fetcher and I try to avoid doing that stuff nowadays.

Storm is another potent commander with three colors and enabling storm on top of all of that. At the very least the condition for that Storm trigger is hitting a player.

Wolverine hits that sweet spot of cool and effective with emulating the character from the comics. Only concern is in a pod of 4, he can take out one or two players but he might not be able to go the distance.

Rating wise, I'd put it as Iron Man and Storm at the top, Black Panther, Wolverine and Captain America at the bottom of the list. Storm being able to storm cast something like extra turn spells is terrifying while Iron Man being able to turn used mana rocks into combo pieces or even stax pieces is crazy. BP has a lot of options to play as a mid range value engine. Wolverine has that kill pressure and having Regeneration is an underrated survival mechanic. America doesn't really generate value and is dependent on the tools you have access to (yes there are a number of search spells/abilities for equipments, still can be broken apart).

Cyberdrive Awakener could turn all noncreature artifacts into 4/4 flyers. Looks like an Iron Man suit too 👌🏻

I think with Captain America you can combo Throw and Sword of Eden so if you cheat the sword into play and have zirda the dawnwaker on board it reduces the equip cost and the throw ability to 1 each so cap can throw the sword enough times in a turn to knock everyone out of the game.

Equip Captain America with Mjolnir from Assassin's Creed for that extra flavor

I really liked your creative takes on some of the more “basic” looking commanders. As cool as these are though I’m going to have to save my money for Final Fantasy next year but I’m sure lots of people will have fun with these

Captain America really appreciates a Grafted Exoskeleton. Turn all that damage from throwing other equipment into more permanent poison and -1/-1 counters.

The "animate armor" thing actually sounds like a cool idea xD

As someone that read a lot of comics as a kid, these really speak to me. Lots of the fun little easter eggs in the art are really fun!

Unfortunately, the 1 +1/+1 counter per turn is a little casual for my tastes. I'm thinking: throw in vigor, hardened scales....that kind of thing.

Plus you also have the means to shift gears, if say....someone were to put an indestructible creature in your way, you can use.....an enchantment???(can't remember the name) to deal direct damage equal to his power. And since his double damage isn't limited to combat damage...

Also, I suppose if you wanted to stay on theme, you could employ effects that cause you to deal damage as though you weren't being blocked. Lol You know, because there's nothing indirect about wolverine. :)

That said, if the last secret lair that was limited run is any indication of expected availability for this release, I'm probably just going to proxy this sh*t. If WotC wants my money, then they're going to have to stop incentivising the scalpers.

I'd Build Black Panther with a bunch of those creatures that let you animate your lands with hexproof or indestructible to attack with them, and also the manlands. Then you got all of those Battle for Zendikar Awakening cards and stuff that cares about land creatures. The turtle that cost reduces your land activations. Love me a weirdo lands deck. Equilibrium, Terra Eternal. Feeling a bit of Noyan Dar in that list, who I've built before.

Also, Black Panther's missing Teferi's Protection as Wakanda Forever. It's what everyone's been calling it. SMH my head, Wizards. /hj

The For Mirrodin and Living Weapon cards could be fun in Ironman. Hexplate Walkbreaker is obvious, but blade of shared souls could do some interesting things maybe. Tutoring for Ugin’s Nexus seems reasonably strong too.

Don't know if this was said, but, I think they should have made them "Partner Commanders" so that you can play them in duo, Like create your own "Avengers".
