In the US we have signs and barricades in front of roads that are only for pedestrians. If they didn't have those and the guy is just following his GPS, we can't really blame them for making a mistake.

They are staring because you are not supposed to be dring in a pedestrian walking only area.

You are the only car cruising that area.

Their stares are telling you that you are doing something wrong.

How could you see an area like this with zero vehicles and pedestrians all around and think it's meant for you to drive through it like you're on Safari?

It's an honest mistake and I don't think they're trying to be arseholes about it. They look like they're just trying to extricate themselves from the situation without causing unnecessary extra disruption. Can't get mad at em for that.

My boyfriend and I stayed in Germany (mostly in Munich) for a few weeks. This is Marienplatz. Pedestrians only! 😂 There are signs, too, but I guess they didn't understand the street signs. It's embarrassing, but funny. I had a great laugh. 😂
