Ответить@venxxxxx - You may think it's ridiculous, but the bolt tightening sequence is important and documented in the manufacturer service manuals.
ОтветитьThanks for this video used it to fix my Taurus. 1 question I replaced my pcv valve and now when I start my car the PCV hose collapses going into the intake. Its sucking the hose closed. Any ideas?
Ответить@peterjnapoli - Sounds like you need to replace that hose. They do break down from the heat and use over time. They often collapse where it connects underneath the intake.
ОтветитьYou were right. I Replaced the pcv rubber groment and it no longer collapses. I also replaced the plugs wires and coil. Runs 98 % better although it wants to idle a little too long now. I'm having to tap the gas to get it to drop below 100 rpm's .

ОтветитьI have a question about this intake manifold. Are the upper and the lower together? My brother is selling me a car that needs the lower intake replaced... I'm not quite sure what and where I'm supposed to be looking. Is this a job I can do myself like in your video?

ОтветитьThanks alot I changed my pcv hose,valve and 2 other hoses in the process a few weeks ago hoping my intake gaskets werent affected ran great for two.weeks and the same codes csme back.same rough stary idle high low rpms searched around Nd found your video.after taking the first half off to get the pcv changed im no longer worried about taking the manifold apart so ill be replacing the intake upper and lower gaskets along with egr and do the fuel injector o rings while im at it, thank u very much
ОтветитьIt's likely the ignition coil. In this car, it's a coil pack so you have to replace them all at once. Like 45 bucks at dave's discount or 1 a auto
