There’s a lot of colonial approaches when growing native, most notable part is what’s often missing is also the actual native people who tending the land which included seed relatives

Buy one native plant, let it self seed and then dig up and move the seedlings. Or winter sow them!

I'm the worst. I just throw the seeds out where I want them. Natives inevitably grow. Everything else... Not so much 🙃
