What do you do when your house has so much thick stucco outside that it literally looks like meringue?? I hate it and no one in our area will touch it. It’s not even efficient. The guy that built the house, put it on and he put it on so thick and some places that it was sliding off the house so we had to put rocks at the bottom I would love to nothing more put siding on my house, but nobody will touch it. I would love some suggestions. deeply sighs

How long does it take to begin to rust away, five years like brick ties?

Kirk....since retiring i am doing more home projects. Though i have been told to enjoy retirement, which i am. I enjoy working on project's...including stucco. My question is....any recommended products that i can purchase at big box store worth it?

Is there a way of staining the stucco without reapplying new stucco?
I just want it toe be darker but I don't want it to become a maintenance issue.
I've heard the you should never paint stucco.
