Science isn’t true just because you can read it in a book. Science gives you instructions on how you can demonstrate for yourself that what it is saying is true. The book is no part of the proof.

WTF....Science has the process of PEER-REVIEW. A scientific paper is reviewed by other scientific experts. Other experiments and studies are conducted by other scientific experts to confirm or disprove the results of a study...all in the purpose of furthering our knowledge of what is factual based on proven scientific evidence.

Just like the Bible, a science book is not evidence of the things written in it.

The difference is that the external evidence of the science book lies in all the data that was accumulated, all the measurements and observations, all the experiments, all the testing and retesting, etc, that constitute evidence and build to a demonstrable working theory.

The science book just describes that evidence. The Bible has very little outside its pages to support the things it says.

Imagine you’re God and you’re creating everything. God supposedly is a loving being and by comparison would be considered the most loving being or 100% love, and during the creation process God creates life with the condition that in order for most or all of life to live, another life has to suffer in great pain, followed by death in order for the other life to live! I disagree. There is a predominant definition of the scientific method: the one that proposes a hypothesis, conducting experiments to test the hypothesis, and so on.

If there is three times the water under the earth than there is on top then I guess a global flood combined with plate shift is scientifically possible I guess? The real question is therefore if the global flood was unfortunate nature events or was the result of intent by God, or it simply never happened and is a lie?

It's amazing how many people don't accurately understand the meaning of the word "belief." Religions tend to give their followers the idea that beliefs are real. Of course this is false. A person can "believe" anything their mind can conjure up, because no factual evidence is needed.

Josephus mentioned Jesus of Nazareth as the savior of the world in a couple of sentences in his writings. Does that make Jesus real? Should the savior of the world get more attention than this? LOL
