iPad Mini 7 - the PERFECT everyday device?

seems like a lot of people are getting the blue colour one.

Is It mad to change my iPad Pro m2 for this one due to portability ? Or m2 is way better

If Apple gave us OLED screens on the Mini then the battery wouldn't be effected and if anything it would improve especially with black backgrounds and dark apps.

iPad mini 7 is my favorite Apple device right now! I use it far more than my iPad Pro 13inch. I was on the fence about it, and so happy. I’m a mini fan now for sure!

11 years since i got the ipad mini 1st gen, since then, its refresh rate of 60hz had not changed …WHAT A SHAME.

Terrific video! I decided to replace my Surface book Go (batteries exploded) with an iPad mini for travel. So far it has been a winner and I find it replacing my ASUS laptop in new ways daily. Your videos are very helpful, especially for this 87 year old going on 20.

Which iPad is better for learning digital art- mini or air 11?

In my case, I’ve been using Ipads for a very long time. I had an Ipad Mini 1 I bought in 2015 that I’ve used until 2021. It was perfect for me. In 2021 I decided to buy a new Ipad, since mine was already too old. So I bought an Ipad Air 3 and I loved it, specially because of the laminated display and the size of the screen helped me a lot with writing. Still in 2021, I sold the Air 3 so I could buy the Air 4 cheaper in another country. That’s the Ipad that I own until now and that I’m using to write this comment. I use my Ipad everyday to watch stuff on the Internet, to read or to search info. My phone is mainly to talk to people and to take pictures. And my laptop is mostly for work. So I like having an Ipad because I use this as a very personal device that keeps me apart from studies and work. Besides, if I want to watch a movie or a TV show while on bed, I think using a laptop is very risky. And because of where I live today as a student, using the TV can be a pain in the ass sometimes. Also, the Ipad is portable. I can watch content from anywhere. I don’t draw on the ipad and I don’t use it as a notebook, on the other hand I’ve found my self having to make some stuff for university that was easier on the Ipad, since editing a scheme is easier for me than in the paper.
The only thing I haven’t decided yet is whether I change my Air 4 for the Mini or not. I miss having an Ipad Mini, but I’m not sure if I’ll adapt again to its screen size

iPad mini 7 is the perfect size for me. I learned I will never be a "Pro" user, not need. Not worth the cost to me. My MBA 15" is the workhorse and the mini 7 is the travel companion. I don't care and don't notice the 60Hz or nits or OLED. In fact, if they start adding that the cost goes up.

You don’t need a iPad or tablet if you have a smartphone and don’t have a computer. But you are stuck browsing the internet, checking email, playing games, and what you use it for on a small phone screen. A basic iPad or even a mini is a huge improvement. You get the bigger screen that makes doing so way better.

This is a great review on the iPad mini and how one can optimise it for everyday use and not fall for the bigger iPad Pro, which is less productive than a MacBook or iMac. I am giving a serious thought on getting a mini now, for those book readings, quick emails and reading pdf and work briefs on the go .

Welp, I'm glad I stumbled on your content! I currently have an 3rd Gen 11" iPad Pro but literally almost never use it, especially since I got the 14" M4 Pro Macbook Pro when they released.

I've been contemplating selling off the iPad Pro but have been a bit scared to pull the trigger and move to the iPad mini, but the day to day use of a Mini sound so appealing to me!

I really use mine for travelling, especially Long haul with Sony nose cancelling , it was brilliant in the states and Japan last year. It’s really all you need. I sill like and use the IPAD pro, but like you I use it less and less, now i have an m4 mini. Subbed!

I'm taking gap years before applying to med school. I'm currently an EMT to get clinical hours and this is the perfect size to use in the ambulance to study my flashcards and do practice problems to study for the MCAT. I brought my 11 inch iPad and it was just a tad bit too big for my liking. But the iPad mini is the perfect size to just bring along with me to get more stuff done while we are just waiting around for a call!

What iPhone do you have to “pair” with this iPad? Regular or Max size? If Max, isn’t the display size too similar? Perhaps it’s not because of aspect ratio but I’m wondering.
