So we cannot use Q-tipping, right? So how can we clear our ears without causing damage to it?

I've learnt to spot the Q tip indentations by watching these ear videos, (in the UK we call them ear buds). I keep swearing to myself I will stop but the urge to stick one in my ears and give it a clean is too great. I wear my hair up mostly and am conscious if there was any wax there. That would gross me out. Happy viewing to all you fellow weardo's out there 😅😮😅
