GoPro Hero 12 vs DJI Osmo Action 4 - IN-DEPTH COMPARISON

I’m between the action 4 and pocket 3 for recording my pickleball matches, which do you recommend for that?

I couldn’t deal with the DJI Mimo App, it was horrible. Also, it was more difficult to import my footage directly into iOS with the Action 4.
I returned the Action 4 and went to the GoPro. Even though the image is slightly worse on the GoPro, the user experience is better.

Ok dude, so I just watched your video and I will say the best part was how friggin cute your daughters are…..that made the whole video. NOW ! Here’s the deal I have a YT channel myself and use a hero 11 with the media mod but I have the DJI mic 3 hard wired into the media mod and the only reason I use the media mod is cause of the cold shoe mount…makes life SIMPLE !! But…..BUT !!! The magnetic mount has me questioning sticking with the GoPro. I love the color profile of the GoPro and can see the difference in the DJI and I don’t know enough about color grading to fix that, but that magnetic system lol being able to change quickly from one shot to another and then go to my motorcycle helmet is HUGE !! I’m in such turmoil and have watched what I feel like is 10 videos but still can’t seem to get the answer I’m looking for 🤦‍♂️😞 if I go to the falcam setup I can’t use the media mod so then I lose my cold shoe mount. I’m struggling brother haha. Great video 🤘

I make airsoft content, the problem i have its when inside a dark place, like a room or house, and looking outside, if the day its sunny, my go pro will just capture brightness, ALOTTTTT....to the point you cant see what iam shooting at...you will just see a white flash, do you guys know if a better camera will solve this? or its a ISO thing i need to mess around? I have a Hero 8 Black btw

Went from a gp4 to a 10 a couple of years ago , I have been happy with it until lately in Sri Lanka in the heat it started freezing necessitating taking battery in and outI am disappointed because as i think is clear in your demonstration the picture quality is superior to osmo,the detail in boardwalk much more defined and your face way more clear ,in my opinion of course

Great video! I'm undecided on these 2 because I want to mount this on my dog here in Alaska. She goes through the woods and up mountains like crazy. Will the magnetic mount hold up to this. I'm afraid she will knock it off. OR, can I put it in a protective case and mount it to the harness mechanically? With the Hero12, its that 1/4-20 that's making me lean that way. And also fishing underwater. Which one would be better? Your thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

I experience a bug on gopro. Low light on gopro is not good. And not versatile

Trying to match to my cinema cam, I can see that the dji in its "log" still has tons of digital sharpening. The gopro looked way better in this regard.

This review helped me to decide which one to buy.... and I don’t regret my decision.
I use it to record my tennis matches and after 2 months with 1.5 hr daily continous usage the results are pretty good.
Key distinctive features are Magnetic mount, front touch screen, battery life, faster charging, protective cage and no over-heating even after prolonged use. Action 4 is really one of the best action camera.

cant you change a setting on the app on phone? Instead of removing gopro camera?

These two are awesome cams....DJI color science looks the same as a few years ago when I bought one ....cooler and not quite as vibrant as the Go Pro which looks more like Samsung color science. DJI has tons of beneficial features that Go Pro doesn't ...

After 3 GoPros I switched to the Action 4. Better battery, user Interface, mounting, and most important, reliability. After having so many issues with my GoPro 9 I was more than ready for something new.

poop. as a new channel I rushed out and bought a GoPro 11 as soon as they arrived in South Africa. then the Max. now we need AN Other camera and I was going to get a 13. but the flipping mods and batteries are not compatible so it actually does not matter what I get next. and I love love love my DJI Mic II and my husband loves his DJI Drone. I thought the magnetic mount goody would be a big deal but being able to view the footage while on is filming is a big deal too. Confused & conflicted. more research is in my future - thanks for a great vid.

Can the video orientation be reverse if mounted upside down?

after one year of this camera being out, it got even better, making GoPro look like a small child with their FOV Boost Lens that boosts the FOV to 182 degrees.

I just got action 4 and i felt that it was really cheap plastic... i feel like it gonna break faster?

Pretty sure B is the GoPro the colors just look crazy good. But I like your approach with a "hidden start".

I was surprised that A is super great focused even when moving, it looks almost better than B when moving fast. But I like the colors better for B and my guess is that B is the GoPro, because of the colors.

Okay i was wrong, that's crazy. Every other video I've seen the GoPro looks more crisp and better in colors.

Dji has good features but as seen in your video colour range and brightness on face is much better on GoPro

Camera B is a bit under exposed. That's the only major difference
