The first time I heard this song I thought it was a work of genius by Robbie and that Rick did a good job with it. And then I heard it again and I realized that Robbie's genius included writing it with Rick in mind.
ОтветитьLegend.
ОтветитьThis energy plays on!
ОтветитьIts so sad his decline. The last waltz was only 21 years earlier
ОтветитьNear paying life’s bill and the talent shines!
ОтветитьI watch and listen to the band all the time. Rest in peace My friends. Hang in there garf.
Ответить❤tygosh
ОтветитьTalent plants it existence for eternity! Amazing!
ОтветитьMy favorite version. God bless you Rick! ❤
ОтветитьMiss ya Rick, an the rains fall down on my door
ОтветитьLoved hum.always will
ОтветитьThis makes a big difference.
ОтветитьRick's swan song. No one can own it. RIP, Rick. Wish they were still with us😓
Ответить💙 Rick Danko !! You and your music are missed every day !
ОтветитьGod I love Rick Danko and this song forever ❤️❤️‼️‼️
ОтветитьI never felt so alone before.
ОтветитьI am still alive
ОтветитьRick sings it exactly how we all feel when heartbroken. I don't think it could be any more soulful and true.
ОтветитьI can't figure out why Rick Danko touched me the way he did.
But he did.
He was one of the best without a doubt, It Makes No Difference is such a sad but beautiful song…👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьAt least Robby has all his money still
Ответитьwow, he was so unknown
ОтветитьLove from Italy... I've seen The movie the last waltz when I was 16....and this song got stuck in my hearth although I didn't understand English at that time.... After learning the language... And the story of the band... Levon helm... Rick danko... Garth.... And the bad actions of robbie Robertson.... I feel this song more than ever... And the last waltz is the only CD i keep in the car...
ОтветитьRIP Rick, thank you for giving us your voice.
ОтветитьThe man was a genius taken away far too soon. RIP Rick, what a song it's beautiful.
Ответитьthis is almost too much to bear - so raw -
ОтветитьTo get here Rick , you walked down to many roads alone. Rip me. angel voice- thanks for sharing the beauty, wished you had less pain.
ОтветитьStill sounds beautiful, but so sad to see Rick's decline
ОтветитьI haven’t listened to this in a while...and it’s bittersweet, poignantly so, I miss Rick, and The Band.
I miss the Country we had when we had them, as imperfect as it was, it wanted to be better even
if it took 4 Canadiens to bring out our Americana roots in response to the British Invasion.
We’re regressing now...like in one of my other favorites by Rick, “Stage Fright”, that revealed their
growing sense of anxiety and cynicism...
Rick and Richard break my heart everytime they solo
ОтветитьI cried the first time I heard him sing this song , 40 years later I sit here listening , damn it I'm cryin' again . Miss you Rick
ОтветитьThere is no point anyone else singing this song. It can only work with Rick singing it. A masterpiece of a song. An emotionally perfect song.
ОтветитьSo brilliant, and yet so sad. Isint that’s what music should do for us.
ОтветитьOh Rick. Thank you.
ОтветитьThis is terribly tragic to view. He would live only 7 months longer.
My favorite song of all time.
Grateful Rick has now found some peace...
Rick had only two years left when this was recorded, a great talent who died way too young. His soulful voice could make magic with a melody and lyrics like this. When Robbie Robertson wrote this song, he wrote it exclusively for Rick to sing because he knew his was the only voice who could give it the sense of loss despair that it needed. Richard is gone, Rick is gone, Levon is gone. Only Garth and Robbie remain. Thank you Rick.
ОтветитьRick Danko - showing respect to the 'Deads". Don't get any better . . . "anymore".
ОтветитьMiss Jerry and Rick Danko and just randomly came back to watch this video tonight...23 years ago today!!! I also MISS Japan right now during this global shutdown!!!
ОтветитьVibration
ОтветитьHis passionate humble soul shines through more brightly than ever. Rick's always touched us in a special place. That's all that matters....I actually prefer this version to all of the others....RICK, YOU WILL LIVE IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER
ОтветитьVery emotive song and voice, RIP Rick (and Richard and Levon, of course).
ОтветитьCan you hear that singing? Sounds like gold.
ОтветитьRick took the loss of Richard very hard.... his rendition of this song brings me to tears....
ОтветитьDespite his spiraling condition he is able to evoke beauty in the melancholy....a lonesome serenade ....a heartwrenching yet poetic splendor.
ОтветитьRest in peace Rick thank you for the music
Ответить2018!🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
ОтветитьMy tears don't rescue me but this music helps,
ОтветитьFavorite (among Band's songs, well, one of the..)...*!
ОтветитьYou will always be awesome in my book Rick Danko...R.I.P. and thank you for all the years you gave us with some of the best music bar none.
Ответитьthis keeps me alive
