People worry way too much with all of these diet gimmicks. First eat .5-1g of protein per pound of bodyweight, second adjust your calorie intake to your weight loss/gain goals... People have been getting in good shape for millennia before the internet told them all these acronyms and fad diet gimmicks

omad will ruin your opportunity for muscle protein synthesis to occur (3-5 time per day) so it might work for some to lose weight but not ideal to build muscle

Well, if you aren’t full, eat more… kind of defeating the purpose of omad if you aren’t getting comfortably stuffed. You focused on Whole Foods which is perfect, pretty much guarantees that it’s impossible to over eat. And I wish someone would challenge me on that.

I worth nothing to say the food you eat matters more than number of meals but having less meals it’s better than more meals

Don’t start fasting eating a bunch of carbs my man😂
Start with low carb it’s easier to adapt long fastings

the best thing i ever discovered for myself regarding diet is a calorie dense filling but not overfilling breakfast (like some honey stuffed oatmeal bars, fruits cheese bread, than fast troughout the day and then have a regular main meal in the evening.

it totally fires up your metabolism with the energy rich breakfast, troughout the day. you really get hungry but you dont experience the after lunch energy low. and in the evening you end the day with something satesfying.

The way the brain works is the moment you think of eating whether it just be "a man I'm hungry" or a "what will I eat" your brain makes your stomach expand to prep for food so not eating whal that happens will make you more hungry

You should do these experiments for a longer period like one month to three months. And then stack them together. Like floor sleeping and semen retention and see what happens combined.

I started doing this while in the Military, stopped a bit after I was deployed because I was drinking a lot of alcohol. Now, over the last year of working at a marina, I slowly started fasting again and now I'm sort of back on the OMAD and I don't really notice. It's 11:21am and I've had a glass of milk so far. I'll eat around 5 or 530 or so. A glass of milk for bone density, I noticed some joint pain over extended periods of exercise or lifting. just my findings though. I'm 5'11 and wiegh 215 at the moment, which is not very good since I'm not cut anymore. I also smoke a bit of weed, so that might play a factor.

I have started doing this almost a week ago and so far almost 5lbs down and feeling good. I take a multivitamin to help with any minerals and such I may be missing from my diet. As it’s very difficult to get all that in 1 meal.

Okay I love these videos, 1 coffee on an empty stomach spikes cortisol and makes you way more stressed. Also cooking with that plastic meat breaker thing is releasing chemicals into your food that not only cause cancer, but many other problems

I've eaten 1 meal a day for the overwhelming majority of my life. The benefit is definitely that you can eat whatever the hell you want when you eat, and generally not even pay attention to calories. I generally have always done it because I couldn't afford to eat 3 times a day, but since my body is used to it, I don't get hungry.

I don’t purposely do OMAD but it’s often because I don’t have the time or motivation to make more than one meal a day, but I often eat snacks throughout the day to avoid the brain fogginess. My Body also just does not like it as much for me to eat breakfast, especially if I have coffee before I eat anything. It definitely worries me sometimes though because I’m a 18 year old male who should definitely be eating like 3 meals a day no problem, but I’m often just not hungry enough to make more than 2 meals. I’m still in decent shape and it doesn’t seem to affect my day to day stuff, so I don’t force myself to eat breakfast for the sake of having a third meal.

When I do eat I eat A LOT, but if I'm not eating I'm good. This is why I love OMAD. I can stuff myself with one huge meal at night and eat whatever I want pretty much, but still lose fat. It's not for everyone, but it works for me.

if you have trouble with sleep you should try fermented foods, cuz it seems like you have a pretty health diet and lifestyle. Probiotics, potentially from naturally sources should help you on the long run.
