Michael Ironside Talks About Why He Won’t Be in Top Gun 2

My favorite character from V.

Michael Ironside is great in every role I've ever seen him take on. Fantastic actor. I think the main reason he never became a leading man is because he just got so good at playing either villains or supporting roles. He's always been a scene stealer. Also, what happens when an actor gets known for supporting roles is that when they stretch and do a leading role they always live under the glare of their own spotlight, their own legacy of roles.

He is DARKSEID!

He really did a great voice job on Darkseid.

Jester was such a badass character and Michael Ironside played him so well. Would have loved to see him in the sequel with more development.

A great cult actor of the 1980s. I missed his character in the sequel.

Michael Ironside is so severly underrated that is should be a crime! He his a wonderful person and great great actor with many classic roles in his baggage.
Love him in Total Recall, Starship Troopers, Scanners :)
