Love this and stensons swing. I struggle with this all the time being 6'3 myself
Ответить6'4 also...very interesting
Ответить6'4"- With a 6'8" wing span...I get stuck all the time.
Ответить6'3 and I pull the ball. Im also a southpaw. I also tend to be inconsistent in hitting fat and thin often.
ОтветитьIs 6'6 tall?
Ответить6'5 and i've just come back from a 8 year long break from golf, just watching Stensons (Gotta cheer for my fellow swede) swing has helped me a lot. I've always thought that my hips were to fast, but i've figured out that I'm simply just not keeping up with my upper body.
Been thinking about taking a couple of lessons and maybe go for custom fitting to further help me out. Do any of you other tall players have this experience? If you do, do they change the shaft length any or is it more of a lie angle change?
I am 6" 4". I understand what you are saying but...
1. With Henrik's fast hands what is causing the club to compress the ball? The fast hands? The shift to the left foot? Both?
2. Being "tight" are you saying that the back-swing and downswing never changes position, i.e., the "V" formed by the hands/arms?
I look forward to your comment
Gerry
I struggle with this especially being 6'10"
ОтветитьI'd say go for extended clubs before bending upright or a combo of both. Trying to come down too steep really makes your elbows lock up which can be accurate but painful...also realize your 5 wood is likely as powerful as a shorter golfer's driver. The overall length of your arms from shoulder to the ball is what really matters. Long arms shorter club versus short arms longer club. There is a point of diminishing returns.
ОтветитьGame-changer for me! Thank you.
ОтветитьI’m 6’7” and south paw and it’s hard just getting the right equipment
ОтветитьSuper valuable ! 6 7 here ! Exactly my problems
ОтветитьI think I'm more confused after watching this? 😃
ОтветитьI’ve found that a steeper swing path helps keep the body out of the way.
ОтветитьI finally found the tip of just letting my arms drop at the top then turning with the club. I used to be so late and stuck. also releasing a bit early for a tall golfer helps. Thanks for this video.
Ответить6,6 and just been driving today. Took a while to get a good connection. Definitely need work.
ОтветитьOne of the best tips I've ever gotten. I'm 6'3 and tend to get stuck due to lower body getting out in front of my upper body.
ОтветитьMr Roll Your Rock, I love the videos you’ve posted I think they’re very informative btw, I’m reasonably tall (6 foot 3) but have a flat swing. Would it be very beneficial to get higher hands (like a more upright swing) at the top? (I’m not sure if ‘high hands’ is the right term but like Scheffler’s position at the top almost?)
