how does the system know where the bullseye target is at or does it not see your grouping? Because on Chad first shot , it said great shot but he was not on bulls eye area or was he not focusing on bulls eye?
Ответитьwatch your slow mow video, you dont have the gun up to your dominant eye but drop your head to your sights.
ОтветитьThat man bun looks rank
ОтветитьLove that system. What distance are from your steel?
Ответить90%! Not bad at all.
ОтветитьCorrection 90.3%! US ARMY Strong!🇺🇸🎯
ОтветитьGripping The Gun too tight, Is still far better than too loose!
ОтветитьTruly excellent review. Thank you
ОтветитьI'm a US ARMY Combat Veteran and I shot a 92.9%!
Ответитьphone? no thanks
ОтветитьIs this mantis a subscription monthly or yearly or is it a buy once thing. Also, how many yards you train at. Thanks guys
ОтветитьIt's hard to take a man bun seriously telling me about firearms 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьChad looks like a homosexual.
ОтветитьHe sounds like bill gates
Ответитьman buns should be called sissy buns !!😁
ОтветитьSo this thing only scores you on how well you handle the gun not on how well you score on target.
You could shoot a perfect score but this thing could give you a lousy evaluation.
I think I've read somewhere that for dry fire practice it doesn't work very well with striker pistols. Is this the case? What's been your experience?
ОтветитьThis is a way for the government to track what you do with your firearms. Anything that's run by apps, the government will be watching.
ОтветитьReally wish this guy didn't repeat himself.
Ответитьgreat video. does the device have to be sighted in on the target? or distance to target entered?
ОтветитьLove the video BUT holy crap dude, when you go weapons hot, it's time to stop talking and shoot. Makes me nervous because there is now more than 1 point of focus.
ОтветитьThe army training to shoot on the reset is because the 92/M9 has what feels like an inch of take up. I shot my buddies Beretta 92 in the late 90s and almost had a negligent discharge because I did not understand the long trigger and the pistol wasn't going bang when I pulled it the normal distance on every other pistol I have shot. I hate that trigger.
ОтветитьWay Late To The Game, but I'm looking to buy... so...
This may seem like an odd set of questions, but is the Mantix X10 Elite something that's reliable on "scoring" your shots, rather than just reading miniscule weapon movements?
[For some reason, a quote from the Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid movie with Robert Redford and Paul Newman comes to mind.]
"Can I move?"
My initial reaction to the gun movement readings in the Mantis X10 app? I know what I'm doing may be "wrong", but I'm consistent and I'm fairly good at shot placement. (Should I want to change that?)
Better timing being a given goal, should I also train for "better hits" or "optimum weapon movement"? Is that the difference between the Mantis Laser Academy and the Mantis X10 Elite?
GET BOTH is probably the obvious response... and I don't mind that.
The initiative for this post was my reaction to the video - where actual shot placement didnt' seem to match up to the Mantix X10 Elite app "scoring".
Coffee... that's funny
ОтветитьExcellent video. My kids bought me the Mantis X10 Elite for Christmas and have only done dry fire so far. Still so much to learn.
When doing live fire, how does it know what specific target you're shooting at? With dry fire, you're shooting at the phone as a target.
Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance to anyone who chimes in.
AND thanks for your service to our awesome USA 👍🇺🇲🇺🇲👍
What about shooting while moving or shooting a moving target?
ОтветитьGreat piece guys. One large thing I learned here: if you're already a solid shooter, don't over-correct. Being too conscious can hurt your performance. We need to allow our muscle memory and experience to continue to "do its thing", while allowing ourselves to make TINY corrections. You guys are both great shooters, and it's easy, when you already have things pretty well "dialed in" to over-correct, simply because you're already close to putting lead down-range "Jerry Miculek" style. It's not easy to make tiny corrections, but what a fantastic tool to show you where you need to MAKE those tiny corrections.
ОтветитьIs this really worth $250?
ОтветитьI’d love to see Jerry Michulek use the Mantis X and see what the computer tell him
ОтветитьYou will get a lot of false fires using a striker fired gun. When I'm running benchmarks or went through to elite shooter I use the CZ, but I do need to use the PDP too because the trigger is two or three times heavier on the PDP. But nearly half the shots are when I rack the gun or the reset clicks. You can turn down the sensitivity some , but if you only have a striker fired pistol you may get frustrated. The main use is that it is such fun to use I tripped my dry fire practice between range time and saw instant improvement. Now I have to translate 95+ average to double taps and less than a second to acquire the target. Love it.
Ответитьstop blaming the coffee. In fact you should drink even more, do replicate the adrenaline you'd have in an actual situation and not casually throwing slugs at a stationary plate between beers out with your buddies
ОтветитьIt's fun and it can be more fun if it works 100% correctly. A lot of times it fails to recognize a trigger pull or it got confused with a trigger reset and that messed up your score on the exercise.
ОтветитьTheir stuff seems priced decent. Is there any cost associated with the app or some sort of monthly or annual fees?
ОтветитьThis, is an incredibly unfortunate name.
ОтветитьThat thing would piss me off
ОтветитьU are wrong. God is 100%...Jerry is just 99%
ОтветитьLove these things
ОтветитьHow does it know what I’m shooting at? How does it know I hit the target or not ?
ОтветитьIt was pretty spot on when you watch those close up's at the end with trigger slap, recoil anticipation, heeling. Really impressive gear there.
ОтветитьGreat review Eric. Great scores. Guess I need to cut back on my consumption of Blackout Coffee Company.
ОтветитьI’m looking to find out if it recocks during dry fire or is it strictly single shot?
ОтветитьYup. A man bun always makes you pull to the Left.
ОтветитьSince everything was a bit left, I was confused as to where the dead center was. I just assumed it was the large black spot on the target but your shot showed differently. It would be very useful to tell us where the X is before you start.
ОтветитьHow does it know if you’re hitting the target? Does the device have an infrared laser or something?
ОтветитьI’m guessing the mantis won’t fit into your holster when mounted to the gun on the rail and this is why you weren’t going from the holster
ОтветитьHow does the system know you actually hit the target?
ОтветитьHow does it “know” what your target is? (Probably a dumb question) THX
ОтветитьWhat would be really cool would be if the comments were AUDIBLE! You could correct in your next pull!
ОтветитьGenuine question please; How does the sensor know whether you've hit the target or shot yourself ? I don't get it
Ответить
