I was in Dubai and just got back Wednesday. Of course I visited all the Arabian houses shops in Deira and the malls😂. It was a great experience to test all the frags I was curious about and buy the ones I actually loved. I tried Avant Ruby but didn't get it cos I have Cleopatra (they didn't have Avant Silk in the stores, which is the one I actually wanted to buy). Avant Ruby is a good dupe of Creed Carmina. I ended up buying Decadent Wonder, a dupe of Amouage Love Delight. Decadent dream is a good dupe of Guidance but I already have Guidance itself (I almost bought it but decided to stick to my resolution of not buying dupes of frags I already have 😂😂) Fragrance world also has dupes of Carmina and Queen of Silk. The packaging is a dead giveaway lol. The line is called Vanti and the Queen of Silk one is Vanti Silky Princess. I bought it cos it's such a good one. The little I sprayed to test lasted all night. The Fragrance World shop was so lovely and they had the new ones in store. I also went to Arabian Oud and tried Madawi and Madawi gold edition finally lol. I got both because they were having a two for one Ramadan promotion in the entire store. I was also in Rasasi, Swiss Arabian, Al Haramain, Afnan, Khadlaj , in fact, all of them. I picked up mostly frags I liked that either aren't in Ghana or no one is talking about yet. I had a good time but it was exhausting lol doing all that walking two days in a row

i bought avant silk recently and it is the most terrible fragrance i’ve ever smelled. it’s VERY strong and just smells like vick’s vapor rub mixed with patchouli. i’m going to let it mature in the closet for a while and see what happens, but my goodness it’s so bad right now! 😭

Adwoa, you stay on top of all these new fragrances. Since I have Avant Silk which is beautiful, I just ordered Avant Ruby hoping it’s just as good. I’ve been looking for a good dupe/clone for Carmina! Thank you for putting out exceptional content.
