Thinking of Buying Jim Beam's Little Book Chapter 9? Watch This First.

Nice video! I really enjoyed 5, 7, 8 with 7 being backup worthy. For a blend I’ll go with Redwood Empire Lost Monarch. Agree Thanksgiving meals at our house is usually ribeye’s, brisket, honey ham, and a small turkey for a couple of people. Cheers!

There’s nothing wrong with high rye bourbon or high corn rye. Both are great. A mashbill that’s somewhere in that mix and can be called a bourye is also great. But sometimes people mix bourbon and rye in a less focused way, maybe not the best barrels of either, and the result is less than the sum of its parts. Blending stuff doesn’t always make it better. I love the Knob Creek Bourbon x Rye - Bourye (I do like the beam profile however). It’s a killer for me at under $50.

Does anyone else listen to videos while walking around or doing something else, then when their videos are over, instead of stopping what I’m doing to find another video, I’m listening to a few minutes of some music I would never in my life purposely listen to yet somehow enjoy it 😂

Hey guys, been watching for a while but still don't quite understand the exact differences in terminology (Bourbon, Kentucky straight, rye, bourye?, etc.) It may be a good idea to make a "beginners" video with examples and describing the different types of whisky!

Good video. Can we all agree that Jim Beam is the worst of the legacy distillers? They just don’t get it right often enough for the amount of product they produce.

Too expensive for me but do quite like the Knob Creek Bourye.

I agree about the Bourye. What’s the point of mixing a rye and a bourbon.

Gotta try the hot sauce on top of the green bean casserole/mash 👍🏼 I have to say, the last few years my wife has used organic non-canned green beans in the casserole after cooking them briefly with onions and bacon; holy cow, my favorite part of thanksgiving dinner for sure!

Chapter 7 in my opinion is peak Little Book. Chapter 6 would be my 2nd choice. 8 was good and 9 just felt like it should have just been a Bookers release to me. Great review guys!

I'm done with Bookers and LB. There are too many batches and not my bag. I liked Reserves, but I hear 2025 is tequila barrel finished no tanks.

Green bean casserole is an abomination that should have been Constitutionally outlawed decades ago. I'd rather have a TV dinner from the '50s than green bean casserole.

I liked chapter 8 better than infinite though I enjoyed both. I will give it a shot.

As a resident Beam fan (including Booker's), I've never tried a Little Book... a little pricey when I've seen them online. I feel I might have to spring for one sometime.

I'm enjoy Old Forester Rye as you speak..... This looks interesting... I haven't tried regular Woodford Reserve yet. My cousin from Arkanasas and I usually enjoy Woodford Surpreme Double Oak when we are together for a family get together.

MY theory is they are aging Rye for a Booker's Rye and as they sample barrels they are pulling some and mixing that are not up to par.

My green bean casserole is what I always look forward to, more so than my ham... yes, I prefer Ham over Turkey.

Bookers/LittleBook/Unobtanium/BarnumBottles or FOMOBottles, at $200. Hard pass. Grab a Four Roses Single Barrel 100pf at Costco for $35...or maybe a couple. Knob Creek 9 100pf is fantastic, too, for $24!!!

Only LB I’ve had is the chapter 7, it has taken to some time sitting very well, longer than any other bottle I’ve had to date. I do like it, high price though.

can find to many bottles for way less than this series. once the went over 80 i was done with it. way to many bottles 40 or 50 less. KNOB CREEK SINGLE BARRELS!

Ooohh man I had pours of LB 8 and 9 this weekend and preferred 9. Bought one and had it last night and it was my fave out of several pours for the night.
