Some of the comments suck here, Like its not your game and if you dont like something about it there will probably be a mod to fix it. Why are some of you so negative?

Edit: I expect that when Ring Racers is released, a lot of the hate for it will die down as people play it and enjoy it, or realise nobody can stop them from continuing to play Kart
Assuming Ring Racers goes in SRB2's folder (or even that it just doesn't go in V2.1's), I'll have both Kart and Ring Racers on my PC, since I'll keep SRB2 V2.1, and Kart with it.

Whenever this does come out, I'll probably never stop playing. This is the kart game I've always wanted but never truly got, and now it's going to finally exist, thanks to you guys over at Kart Krew. I can't express how happy it made me to see that old screensaver brought to life in a track. Chengi, this is a masterpiece of a level. There's so many different ways to race it too!! God, you COULD be a basic bitch and just race the track, or be a total madman and fling around at the speed of sound in those rings in the air and just-... Man, I'm so friggin' hyped now.

Thanks to fans, I'm able to get excited over a game with Sonic in it again, and that makes me feel all... Toasty inside.

Why every srb2kart v2 video makes me sad? Oh… yeah… it’s because it’s work in progress for almost 3 years. Every year they post a video of srb2kart v2 every autumn, but who can guarantee that this game will be released this year? Well i say it: Srb2kart v2 will not be released on 2022-2023

sev got paid 700 dollars by gamer from mars to remove, quote from GFM "Those nasty spring panels" and assist him on his future srb2kart content. hence the blatant misinfo like the ring racers thing. GFM's alt is now floating around in the kk discord.

Man, the more I watch this footage, the more I realize that tumble state is BRUTAL.

I'm kinda curious if DRRR is going to have systems to dynamically rotate and squash/stretch sprites for things like the tumble state and wall run, or if that's going to be on spriters to do when they start making characters?

Is it me or the spring sprites look different than vanilla SRB2 2.2?

The ring sprites reminds me of the ones used in SegaSonic The Hedgehog (1993).

Still another year of waiting after the 16th of November....just Quit Overwatch a month ago and recently Genshin and now, I have no games to play.

It is now well over a year since this video has posted, and so far no more plans for any of this has been shown.

Honestly, I wouldn’t even be surprised at this point if a big update like this is outright cancelled at this point…

This looks like a completely different game with all these new mechanics, but I'm curious as to what new bonus characters will be included as will as what well happen to the already existing tracks.

i was never a fan of kart racers, and honestly? doesn't make me excited to play srb2Karta, i'd just play Crash Team Racing instead

I wanna race on this awesome beautiful bright and colorful stage I need to get Robo Blast 2 Kart and the Joypolis raceway. Sonic games need a Joypolis Zone I would love to play in a stage like that in a Sonic Mania style game

Man I wish there were triple AAA studios using this engine. It's so nice to look at and it runs on everything perfectly. There are tons of doom mods that are great, but I wanna see what a huge budget could do in it. Less is more.

Another anniversary passed...another no update/content nor progress on Ring Racers... sigh 😞

After finally playing it... it's impressive how so much of what made it into DRRR was already visible here except for the HUD changes and new roulette.

It has been a long wait, but damn, it was worth it in the end.

Seeing Ring Racers with V1 menus and the classic Kart title, as well as RR music on V1 menus throws me off so much... shocking just how far this game has come.

Looking this after the game release is a total trip.

Tripwires didn't exist and items were still random.
As well as some missing sprites for the trick panels, still using Kart's Sprites.

and of course, The classic results screen with the modern music.
