The little red lotus is bloody lovely. I thought somebody might get it for $10k there. Even at $16k sale, somebody bought a bargain. These are one of the best sports cars. I would love to take one on a mountain road drive. Twin cam Lotus engine, car weighs less than a ton. It's rhd, that's why it sold for so little $ in the US methinks. Here in Oz it would fetch more, as we all drive rhd cars.
I must add these high end English auctioneers are masters of their craft. They're actually pleasant to listen to.
Americans being unfamiliar with the value of little Alfa Romeos is a real thing. The Zagato coupe selling for $34k is a total steal. In the UK or Europe that's worth 3x more.
ОтветитьOh lordy. The 2018 Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS has 3 pedals and a proper gearshift. It's quite a thing and looks spectacular in yellow.
