The Valley needs to understand that development is important for their progress. Educated youth wasting away is bad for society's morale. Our Union may not be perfect but it is better than many other troubled/troublesome neighbours. Religio-terrorism and fundamentalism is done and dusted. Time to move on. Kashmir is better with development, not 'misunderstood azaadi'.

Agar hawa tez chalti hai to cable stayed design option kyun chuna gaya ? And man, that single pylon must look such a tempting target to a JF-17 or a Pak F-16 fighter from beyond visual range. The Indian army best discount the availability of this bridge in its logistics calculations. Better to estimate one's odds with one hand tied behind one's back than to learn on D day that both arms have been cut off.

Still need to do alot I hope future projects won't take time like this.

Jai ho Prime Minister Modi ji for his during step to abrogate Article 370 and 35A. Due to this the integration of J&K is absolute in the Indian union. This fecitated yo develop infrastructure in jammu and kashmir, which will boost the development of the State and there will be improvement in the living standards of the people due to Better tourism and marketing for the Agri and allied products in india and abroad. Establishments of Educational institutions like IITs, IIMs, AIIMS, Medical colleges, Engineering colleges, Universities and hospitals will provide better opportunities to the Students, youth and general public. It's really a metamorphic change in the lives of J& K people. We all should thank the central govt and particularly Prime Minister Mr Modi and his team who are involved in all yhe developmental works of the J& K.

This is very sensitive place in terms of safety of life as it is a full construction site, bridge is still not open for operation and I see many fool or super intelligent or this carelessness is part of Indian construction standard, many people did not follow the safety rules has not been fulfilled.
And you reporter, I assume you are from UP and eat more chillies because you don't feel cold at such a height.

There is a single track on the bridge? This would affect train timings. Hope there is a provision to turn it into two tracks in future so that the goods trains doesn't have to stop on one side when a passenger train is coming from the other side.
But this progress is also commendable. Congratulations to everyone involved.
