ОтветитьI’ve been in both and we ended up buying the 2024 4xe Willy’s for several different reasons . I was only ford for over 30 years but for the last 6 years I’ve been in Jeep’s and I’ve had no issues I guess I’m a Jeep guy now lol

ОтветитьAlthough I fully admit the Wrangler has its issues including the standard Pentastar Engine, but it's been time tested whereas the Bronco and it's 2 engine choices have not. I will stick with the Wrangler, but note I have a Ford F150 with the Coyote engine and six speed transmission. Won't trade that in either.
ОтветитьI had to get rid of my Wrangler because our Govt in the UK has decided that if we are to have any vehicle that isn't an ugly small golf cart (exaggeration of course) we have to pay thousands of pounds in penalties (oops I meant taxes). Alas the Wrangler 4xe is not coming to the UK apparently - otherwise I would be buying one. I loved my Wrangler in every respect. On road, off road (and I only had an Overland, not a Rubicon). Ford Bronco is also not coming to the UK. I guess it is understandable, we simply don't have the kind of long distance off road terrain to take these things out and have fun. I suppose the Scottish Highlands are the most applicable, but even then cars a lot less capable than a Wrangler can handle that. If I lived in the US, one of the first things I would do is head to the Jeep dealer and buy a 4xe!

ОтветитьThe wrangler front end I honestly feel is a bit overblown.
I've got a '23 4xe Sahara and yes, at first the front end feels very "active" on the highway. It's because it's something you just aren't used to. After a few trips you honestly don't even notice it.
So as a tester I'm sure it's a very noticeable difference going back to back but once you own it it's a non issue.

ОтветитьThe Broncos suspension is the same as an everyday SUV no thrills 😅😅 I laugh at the Jeep haters they're very reliable on and off road and depending on what kind of setup you got they are very comfortable on the highway they don't have the problems that jeep haters say

ОтветитьHaving owned both the Broncos soft top is much quieter than the Jeep hardtop. Yeah I get it it's not supposed to be as quiet as a Cadillac but the noise inside a Jeep could be a lot quieter if they paid a little bit more attention to the hardtop design

ОтветитьJeep: terrible on road. Garbage interior. Not really that reliable. But can go just about anywhere.
4 Runner: ridiculously reliable. Awesome on road. Adequate off-road. Slow as hell. Boring. Easily modified to go anywhere.
Bronco: ridiculously fast. Ridiculous capable. Amazing on road. Insane off road. Reliability may be questionable in the long run but the 2.7/3.0/3.5 EcoBoost are pretty solid.
Ford absolutely knocked it outta the park on this. They fucked up on pricing though.

ОтветитьHere's a slick trick for the jeeps... especially when aired down. Flip the jeep into 2wd when approaching a tight turn. The front wheels will drag, the rear wheels drive, and you can drift around the hairpins. Going from 4h to 2wd you don't even have to stop.
Really great for donuts too.
Test he Bronco against the Mojave.
You also forget to mention that’s the bronco it’s noisy from inside cheaper plastic and doesn’t have rear vent at the back seat

ОтветитьThe category is 4x4 utility vehicle, in that category the wrangler dominates. Nobody buys a wrangler for the cushy ride. The Bronco is nothing but a new Ford Explorer with bigger tires and removeable doors.
ОтветитьThe hybrid part of the 4xe puts it ahead of the Bronco for me. It saves alot of fuel on road, and off it gives you massive amout of power instantly. The Bronco is better on road yes, but who buys a SUV like this for road performance?
ОтветитьWe test-drove both and found out the vaunted on-highway quality ride in the Bronco just wasn't there, as compared to the new 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. The Wrangler soaked up the potholes and poor pavement conditions nicely and offered a much more quiet ride. The only negative we found is the overly sensitive and wandering steering mentioned in the video. Did I mention we ended up buying a 2-door Rubicon X? We couldn't be more pleased with our decision.

Depends on what u need. If u live in the boonies, choose gas. If u live in the city, choose hybrid.

ОтветитьNo mention of the difference in weight, the jeep hybrid is over 1000 pounds heavier than the base model and 600 to 800 more than the bronco.
