ОтветитьTHANKS TO YOU YOUNG MAN FOR SUCH A STORY AS THIS THEY SAY you learn something new everyday. AND THIS BEING OCT 20, 2022 I learned A GREAT DEAL. ROBBIE PHILADELPHIA PA FISHTOWN
ОтветитьThe K5LA IS GREAT!!!
ОтветитьThe whistle signals used are based on Morse code letters, and the signal for grade crossings is the letter Q.
I love the train horns, but it makes me sad to see all of the tracks being torn up, and converted into walk ways, when they should go back to the land owners...
Train sound of train horns, up lifts my spirit n carries my heart n mind away to where it may go. It's but a moment of peaceful thought , as I hear but faintly the last whistle blow away into the distance.
ОтветитьI like steam whistles more than air horns but I still like them
ОтветитьExperimental music
ОтветитьI love the P5 new cast that was the old cast
ОтветитьI hate train horns! But kids think train horns are cool
ОтветитьI wish raised letter K5LA’s didn’t sound so awful
ОтветитьHow many trains are there equipped with the Nathan K5HL and Nathan K3L
ОтветитьI dislike quiet zones because I love Train Horns! I can agree that the K5LA Is a beautiful and a amazing horn, but if I had to go with my favorite, It would have to be the K5LLA because how low pitch it is, and its so soothing. They are great on ACe's like with Union Pacific, Norfolk Southern, and a few CSX units as well!
ОтветитьLiving on the other side of the Pond I wish that UK trains had North American horns.
ОтветитьI hate these horns hurts my ears and hurts my brain
Ответитьwhy are there 1 or 2 horns faces to the back
Ответитьnice
ОтветитьOne of my buddies put a real K5LA train horn on the spare tire part of his truck and messed with people for years
ОтветитьAMTRAK'S GE GENESIS P42DC DIESEL LOCOMOTIVES uses the blue Nathan AirChime K5LA Horn located on the roof of the diesel Locomotive while the Bell is located on the right side just 2 inches behind the cowcatcher of the diesel locomotive!!😊
ОтветитьTheir are no Two Chime horns. Their is 1 chime, 3 chime, 4 chime, and 5 chime.
Also, I wonder what a 6 chyme or 7 chyme Air Horn would be like on a Diesel Locomotive.
The K5LA in the end literally sounds like Dash 8 509
ОтветитьQuite zones cause more deaths than non quite zones
ОтветитьMaybe you should do one on steam whistles.
ОтветитьA few years ago I moved houses. As a train ‘geek’, I was so excited that I was moving to a house relatively close to a mainline. However, a few weeks in, I noticed I wasn’t hearing horns- at all. That was when I realized I was in a quiet zone 😐😂
ОтветитьI like some horns
ОтветитьWhat is that song on the outro
ОтветитьDo a video on whistles.
ОтветитьExcellent explanation & examples! Thank you for this video, from which I learned a lot. Btw, your example of tuning, a B Major 6 chord, is first inversion, with the 3rd on the bottom. Neat sound. I once heard a coal train go thru our town, with its horn sounding a beautiful 9/6 chord!
