Why do you need to be looked after? Why do you need to be lorded over? Why do people need politico's on the public dole (tax paid) who don't seem to know what is going on, yet the politico's are expected to support political party policy blindfolded.

No Labour M P will go against Starmer because if they do he kicks them out end of. Need new government who understand farming and worldwide issues

Keep the pressure up to change Labour leadership's priorities. Your MP is powerless in a partisan system otherwise.

Too political for me atm. I liked being part of the EU, I also believe in fair taxes for all, if that means things change, then so be it.

If they want to save money the Government should stop sending money abroad. The net zero and Miliband is a scandal he seems to have a blank cheque book.

We were in peppercorn rent my uncle baught land sold it to pay family out died at 65 my aunt sold up for partly converted to houses 3 people's ashes are scattered in pasture my money went on my house rent so I'm still poor retired farmer

You have been led up the garden path by a clown like clarkson and you knew fine that landis never worth over 10 grand an acre so all the borrowers on the present land value are already in big trouble as you are in a perfectly good position to ork out the true land value farmer p but i estimate its actually only truly worth around 3grand an acre and even at that feed barley at 120 a ton wouldn't make nothing

The rally is just the beginning. Important to dig in for a long haul and maintain public support. Farmers can be very determined, you don't give up t the first storm or snow. Together we can win.

A good way to sum up taking care of the land over profit is what good is 3-5 years of max profit followed by 10-20 years of terrible yields so why not sacrifice some profit per year so that your more profitable on average across that same 20-25 years

Unfortunately, it will definitely have fallen on deaf ears. MPs do a very good job of pretending that they care. They don't.

Inheritance Tax as a tax as always bothered me. You build up a business (not just in farming) with bank loans, no assistance from the Government of the day except possibly some form of grant, then when you wish to pass it on the Government suddenly demand a percentage ??

Why does the nfu never have the comments switched on?
My council have their comments switched off too Mevagissey they don't want to listen, they want to know what you'll ask before their meetings and the answer you get is lame to say the least, plus you don't get a chance to come back to that answer. To say they're transparent is an understatement. They talk about things they have no clue about a typical question was about agriculture and the answer was trees for Christ sake.

Don't accept any compromise to farmers. Investors are a different story unless they're farming it.
