Without doubt one of the all time great band classics BUT what a truly epic reaction video. Expression and obvious feeling for the music totally overcomes gratuitous commentary. Absolutely loved your very real feelings for this piece.

From the golden age of music, the likes will never be heard again, no new so called artists have anything like this kind of musicality.

The performance is a masterclass of tight musicianship on stage. The backstory to the song is fascinating, and Mark tells that story impeccably. I was fortunate enough to see the Alchemy tour, and a few others they did- Legendary!

Honestly, it does my heart good to see people actually listening to music. In my parents era it was something you actively did, putting on a record was almost a ritual. In my era we had what you might call a boom box or a ghettoblaster, there was still some degree of fidelity. In today's era it's some pissy little phone speaker blarting out what sounds like sound bleed from someone else's cheap headphones.

For me this is the best song of Dire Straits. No other song of them touches me in the same way this one does, although they had a fair share of good songs. The composition, the way he sings it. It is unmatched by any other Dire Straits songs for me.

Timeless music and i love seeing the joy on peoples faces when they watch and listen to Dire Straits songs for the 1st time. I am lucky to have seen them live 39yrs ago on their Brothers in arms tour in West Germany when i was in the British army. Also seen Mark as a solo artist twice in Manchester.

Sultans of Swing & Telegraph Road are classics of the classics. Mark with Dire Straits and on his own with other greats make music to improve the cosmos! Check out other concerts and the many tunes to match any mood. But they are mostly uplifting and feel good! Check the lyrics for the stories in them for your next level!

Rebeka, check out Mark's film music too which he wrote for the two films "Local Hero" as well as "The Princess Bride". He has that soulful quality in his music and can express anything with a guitar.
