I grew up listening to the Statlers and I never thought that there would come a group that could do the Statler's songs like the Statlers did them. Thanks to the Statlers, D&V, and 34 for posting.

I was at that wall twice in one day....my first and LAST trip there. simply no need to go back.

That war was my generations war. I cry everytime I visit the wall and see the names of my fallen brothers. I visit and remember them so they do not just become meanless names on a wall.

I never lost anyone in my intermediate family that was a soldier,but I have sooooo much heartfilled respect for these "peaceangel soldiers"that has moved to heaven above...this song has soooo much feeling and is incredibly touching when i listen to it...ty for posting 100-100

D&V did this in Bowden GA 2 years ago and had all Vets stand almost 1/2 of the theater was standing. They did this first with instruments then finished acapella. There were no dry eyes in the house.

no job, no money, go to army, fight for the country that a) deliberately omitted to give you a job and b) instead gave you the opportunity of going to fight in a war with weapons you had no chance to fix in a factory because you didn't get the job, in a war you wouldn't have fought if you could have had a good income with a no-war job... fuck, some things ain't the way they should... love to all the veteran's families!

THIS SONG REMINDS ME OF MY ARMY VETERAN HUSBAND WHO SERVED MORE THAN 25 YEARS . HE PASSED AWAY IN 2009 STILL MISS  HIM SO VERY MUCH.

If no countries had soldiers there would be no war.
Why don't politicians try to settle things without sending out people to kill each other? They are a bunch Psychopaths who order people to go kill other people for their stupid political discussions, and I bet they don't fucking lose sleep over it either.
