Tobermory (unpeated) and Ledaig (peated) belong together, to my mind. I do not know whether Tomatin has a peated version.
ОтветитьThey make several different sherry cask finished whiskies. You must be confusing this with Tobermory.
ОтветитьHave never seen this bottle, have been told its a pretty good one.... nice vid!!!!!
ОтветитьI hated the Tomatin 12 year so much I blew off the 18 year. I’ll add this one to my wishlist.
ОтветитьVery heavy on the Sherry, but it's pretty good and it grows on you, here in NC it goes for $109.00 but I got mine on sale for $89.00 not sure if I would replace it at full price though.
ОтветитьHallo Peter
Have you the (ancnoc 24 )
I bought it yesterday for 200€ here in Sweden...
I heard a lot about
Tomatin 18 is one of my perma shelf whiskeys. I always have a backup bottle.
I can find it around New Jersey for about $105 + tax.
Tomatin has a peated line called Cu Bocan.
ОтветитьOk enough is enough, back to me winning lol!
ОтветитьOnce more into the breach...
Have you considered asking your viewers to vote on the OSWA's?

ОтветитьI haven't had this Tomatin, Peter. Interesting tasting notes! Great video!
ОтветитьHave you had younger versions of this? I'm curious your take. But if you are comparing it to Tamdhu, that's some good pedigree.
ОтветитьNice vid Peter!
I picked up a bottle of this in tucson last year at TW on clearance for $84.99. An absolute steal at that price. Still see them around Az for around $120…that’s been a slight push but still worth a buy at that price.
