when i was like 4 years old in 2009, my brother at the time was around 23, he had a high end pc of that time and he let me play that game, it was certainly a very realistic game, i play dirt rally 2 right now and the physics are so unrealistic

I wonder if some of the original Colin McRae Rally games could see simmilar treatment in the future. Maybe even Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo if people actually started playing it again.

Love the ambient/intelligent jungle and dnb sounds.

Still some of THE best physics and deformation to this day....but that's about where it ends lol

That Mineshaft stage is easily my favourite stage in any rally game. Nothing touched it then and nothing touches it now.

Why you cut the voice so many times even in the same sentences? It makes it really hard to follow what you are saying with the constant changes on volume and mood

my dad was an amateur rally racer, he told me he learned some basics off of this game, so the game is realistic i guess

i honestly like the rbr graphics much better than the realistic ones of Dirt or WRC, rbr just has so much charm.

It’s because RBR has no stability assist like dirt rally and wrc have even with all assist off

so the reason why this game is so good is not thanks to the game itself, but the modders

just so you know the rallysimsfans website installer will require a torrent install of 35GB of mods. hell nahh. im installing forza 4 instead.

2025. Play RBR for last month and half( i come from console but switch to PC). I wont get any other rally game, found my place , i couldn’t care less about the graphic( they aren’t that bad), when you start driving and physic of the game kicks in, the graphic become secondary by a mile

I love WRC especially WRC Generations but they do have issues like invisible walls or falling through the map or strange physics with walls or fences launching you 500 meter in the air due to a glitch like in gta 4 with the swing. I played every track in WRCG multiple times over both ways and have done every career mode and unlocked every skill tree and nearly every achivement,

The mods make the game what it is. not the game itself. Best rally game standalone is Ea sports WRC, or DR2.0. Everyone bragging about RBR physics being wonderful are lost. Base game Its just not there. Kudos to the RBR community for making it what it is today and making it FREE! even still id rather pay for a game with a streamlined UI and modern graphics. It just works nicely and isnt an absolute pain in the ass to setup. I gave RBR 36 minutes of my life and probably 12 of those were actually driving with an FOV that looks like something from a 90s arcade game. A view so tainted you cant see the road when you brake hard. yada yada yada. If you like never ending tweaking of buttons and knobs, well then dick burns knob is ready for the drool. But while you are still tweaking knobs ill flying down the forest roads. All the folks hyped over RBR have been tirelessly tweaking knobs and making mods so the game is close to reality and have prolly been doing so for 10 years. There is like 10 menus to tweak shit in and its a roll of the dice if you made your changes in the right one. oi vay. way to tedious. Ill put my fire suit on for the roasting i will get over this response. but i said what i said. Cheers and keep the tires under the car.

Rbr is overrated , lets just be honest.Dirt rally 1 has the best handling and physics and also graphics is photorealistic with great sound
