Personally, I think San Diego is the best city in the US (okay, I might be biased!). There are definitely some amazing things about this city, but there are quite a few downsides too. The big bonus of living here is the weather and a beach-y/coastal lifestyle. The major downside is the cost - all the pros come at a hefty price tag compared to the rest of the nation.
