Wow, that video was hard to watch. My jaw dropped. Sola scriptura is one hell of a drug. “Don’t pray the way Jesus told us to pray”. “You no longer need to forgive others or ask for forgiveness”. How could anyone ever become a saint that way? They don’t care about becoming holy; they just care about sinning without consequence. People who are exposed to the Gospel are held more accountable for their sins than those who lived before Jesus’ death and resurrection because we can literally see what our sins have done to Him and the horrific sacrifice He endured for us. This “Christian avenger” should meditate on “work out your salvation with fear and trembling”.

The our father pray is so beautiful in many ways when you stop and listen to the words. That being said I will continue to pray. Amen to all my brothers and sisters.

There are many people like that guy. Thy believe if you oray once, its all set and done. It doesnt work that way. Prayer should be an on going process, its how we connect with God, its like a conversation with our father.

Na, John himself in 1 John 1:7-10 contradicts the notion that Christ's death on the cross would nullify the necessity of asking for forgiveness. The whole thing with God is that it's a covenant relationship, old and new testament.

As a Baptist, I just want to say, this man is teaching error. He needs to repent publicly and correct this. Praying the Lord’s Prayer is good and biblical. Do we have to always pray those exact words? No. But it is there to show us how to pray. We should pray that way. As Christians, it is good to confess our sin to God and even to one another, although the price has already been paid.
