Useless blockade exercises. They may have the largest Navy in terms of numbers, but at least half of it is obsolete and consists of converted civilian ships and fishing boat militia. Any real blockade attempt would be wiped out by the mighty US Navy in no time leaving the commies no choice as to retreat to their own coastal waters and focus a huge chunk of their military on the Taiwan Strait which is shallow and only allows for surface ships.

So, the Chinese have been upset twice, and we know they are dependent on Western customers, so they won't actually pull the trigger. They've also watched their ally, bungle through a land based invasion with great difficulty, so they know the task to invade Taiwan is near impossible right now, so what they've done (twice) is essentially just give the Taiwanese, and allies a LOAD of Intel on their war craft. Well done China.

Well it’s their own territory so technically they are not doing anything wrong here.

China can practice all they want their blockade will last less than 24 hours in practice. The US has made clear they will be fighting with the ROC and Japan said it outright. Both on their own can destroy eighty percent of the PRC conventional forces. All they are doing is showing us what weaknesses they have and telling us what frequency to put into the anti-radiation missiles. There will be a lot of PLAN and PLAAF equipment on the bottom of the Taiwan straight even without the help of neighbours and friends.

Taiwan is part of China and needed to be reunified with its motherland. The reason why the US is getting heavily involved in Taiwan is to contain China from becoming the world super power. The US had tricked Mikhail Gorbachev to breakup the Soviet Union,and now the US is trying to do that to China.

US is staging another war with China.

In my opinion, this is the textbook definition of domestic affairs. Don't add fuel to the fire, and let the Chinese figure it out by themselves. After all, fuel prices are high enough...🤣🤣🤣

Judging by how Russia is doing against Ukraine China would suffer heavy losses and likely not be able to take Taiwan which is significantly better armed than Ukraine.

Taiwan is a part of China because China has 2 parts due to civil war, Taiwan of China and mainland of China. Currently both 2 parts have their own administrations but UN and almost all countries admit mainland China as the country China. Both parts should be united because separation caused by civil war should not last long.

As an American I am deeply offended by what Macron has said and inferred about the US. Democracy and values are for all not the US alone. France apparently wants to go it alone. Au revoir.

They are going to keep pretending to do drills but then one day as everyone thinks it’s just another blockade drill, they are going to actually do it and there going to catch everybody off guard, including Taiwan and America. It will be up to Japan to hold down the fort until the USA and everyone gets over there. I feel strongly this is going to be their strategy, so everyone prepare for it please.
