Render Time: 35 Hours
I started this project sometime in August 2022 and it is finally done in December 2022.

The way the system works is there is a particle buffer as a child object of 3 empties named X,Y, and Z on a world space constraint on my VRChat avatar which are controlled with animators. I send float values representing the XYZ data of each particle from a 3d model. I use vertex colors in those models baked from textures. So for this video I baked 602 frames each taking between 5 to 10 minutes for each frame. Each frame is of a grid of 42^2 particles. I send the vertex data from the vertex color data as HSV for my avatars animators to adjust between each placement. These 21 seconds of video took me about 25 hrs for the first 300 frames and after some upgrades I was able to render out the last 300 frames within 8 hours. I made a custom HLSL shader that takes in HSV data and smuggles it in through the XYZ scales of the particles.
